    I am disappointed about the Turnbull situation if I’m being honest. I think we need a good goal-scoring midfielder, or at least someone who can go box to box.

    But even then, need another CB and a quality RB. Lennon has also said he wanted another midfielder on top of Turnbull in any case.

    Will wait to see if all of this materialises – without selling our main assets to offset transfer fees – to judge whether it has been a good window.

    CHRISTOPHER Jullian has said he can't wait to get his Hoops career underway and added he was excited to reunite with his former team-mate, Odsonne Edouard, with the aim of helping the Bhoys secure UEFA Champions League football.

    The Scottish champions signed the highly-rated Toulouse centre-back this morning in four-year deal.

    Speaking exclusively to Celtic TV immediately after putting pen to paper on the contract, the new Celt said he was eager to get started.

    “I’m really happy to be here,” said the 26-year-old. “I’ve had a warm welcome, so everything is perfect! I can’t wait to start here. I already know the stadium is amazing and the fans are crazy and really get behind the team.

    “I’m really looking forward to playing in front of these fans. It’s an experience I’m excited for and, like I say, I just can’t wait to get started. I’m so happy to be finally be here.”

    Neil Lennon’s side are currently in the midst of their Austrian pre-season camp and Jullian will fly out to begin training with them this weekend. And the Frenchman will be greeted by a familiar face when he arrives as he links up with Odsonne Edouard.

    Jullian said he was delighted to see his compatriot help Celtic secure a Treble Treble last season and added he was hopeful of helping bring more success to the club.

    “It’s achievements like this team have made that you dream of when you start out in football," he said. "I will try to bring everything for the team. This is a team who have won a lot. Last year they achieved a big thing and I’m going to try and give everything I can.

    “I know many of the French players who have played here by name. I know Odsonne personally because I played with him two years ago with Toulouse. I can’t wait to see him. We’ve spoken a lot in the past week and he’s told me he can’t wait to have me in the team.

    “I cheered him on last year when I saw all the good goals he was bringing to the team and the trophies he won.

    “I’m going to join the team on Sunday and I’m going to try and be ready for these big games coming up so I can help the team bring Champions League football back to this stadium.

    Seems like an excellent signing, we've desperately needed a big destroyer in defence for ages, been bullied far too long.

    Only problem is with his size he won't be quick, and as Ajer is also slow as * we need another CB plus 2 RBs and left back cover.

    Another positive this will.maybe cheer Ntcham back up? Another good season out of him we can do well in Europe and sell for 15+ next summer.

    You really think Ajer is slow as *? I feel like he's pretty fast for a CB. Maybe a bit slow on the turn but his recovery speed is great.
