He’s not without his faults but for a debut season I think he’s settled wonderfully to be honest.

Thought he was gonna be rattled by a big physical forward again and implode after that Hamilton gol but he recovered well.

That’s literally the only bad thing you can say about him, sometimes he’s bullied. He’s dealing with it better now though.

    Strikers finish too.

Great finish but far from his best game. His dislike for physical battles aside, he really needs to stop the slack passes and brain farts.

He really struggles against big talentless lumps but he dug us out a hole today with a great finish.

Big game goalscorer, trouled badly though by that big *. When a big guy pulls, pushes, barges and gets in about him he gets rattled and looks to get in a battle with them sticking tight to them.

We should be telling him to stand off those big dumpling and let them get the ball down, they're * and canny turn or go on a run, thats when you intercept them. Denayer, Van Dijk, Boyata and Kelvin Wilson were masters at just standing off these clowns and letting them try and take the ball then just take it off them like sweeties off a wean when you rush in like Jozo, Sviatchenko and get bashed about etc that fires them up and they start to get into the game.

    £7m for Jullien or Kent?

I know who I'd rather sign.

Needs to shapen up against these big strikers, always seems to have an iffy game when up against one, still, another massive goal for us.

Is there any steroids on the market that have the Roid Rage side effects without actually bulking you up ??

The big fella is big enough but never seems to want the battle against these physical big strikers

took his goal brilliantly but his defensive performance against their striker today left a lot to be desired, he was getting bullied just like last year against livingston. hopefully he can improve on that cause we cant have our main defender struggling against the forwards of livingston and hamilton.

I think the problem is the opposite, he does want to battle with big guys when he shouldn't. The big guys are pish.

For me playing at the back for Celtic you should allow the opposition to take down long balls etc and then react to it, the way Van Dijk plays, if a ball can be won easily win it, if you're probably going to be beat to it, let them take it down the sneak in and win it while they try and turn or run with it.

That big Hamilton diddy for example was never going to get on the ball and run at or in behind us.

Jullien was sucked into a physical battle and sticking to him like glue allowing him to barge and nudge Jullien and turn him or pull Jullien out towards him and it gave them a lift. Jullien shouldn't be going near him, there is no need to as hes no threat to you on the ball.

Wee fast guys you shut down quick and nudge and barge off the ball, guys who are bigger and awkward, let them have the ball.
