Compper was never really fit when he was here constantly injured.

He has only been here 6/7 weeks give it time.

I think people have been reading far too much into this one.

I think it’s just the case that Lennon wanted to go with the partnership that has been together longest in Ajer and Jozo.

Surely people don’t actually believe Lawwell has went out and bought a £7m CB that Lennon didn’t want?

On the face of it, that's what I want to believe. But then I wonder, Jullien came here in June and we knew for weeks now that Jozo was to be out the first two league games, so why wasn't the jullien-ajer partnership not fully developed by now? Surely jullien-ajer for the st Johnston game, first leg Cluj, then Motherwell would be decent enough to build enough to have them understand each other for Tuesday night?

Seems backwards not to have made that the partnership, one that wouldn't be disrupted. Than to chop and change it every 3 days

Well look at last season Rogers didn't know about the winger coming in and I do think there is someone bringing players in with or without the managers approval and for all we know Lennon gave the get it up you and left them on the bench .
But we shall find out on Saturday if both of them play or not .

I’m aware it’s happened before, but Lennon has said himself that he went and met Jullien in Paris to persuade him to come.

That's true but I find it hard to believe this guy is not fit as he's been at the club for 6 weeks and someone said he blanked Lennon after the final whistle against Motherwell so if that's true all is not well there

This type of * needs to stop right here. The fella is only in the door, we need to be patient and not run down his relationship with the manager.

Did Lennon not say he was going to be first choice given his price tag etc? I'm sure he mentioned it in one of his interviews just after he signed.

Whole thing seems strange to me.

Ye he did. He said jullien was coming in as first choice and O'Connell may be more of a slow burner development player. Jullien was announced on the Friday and O'Connell the Saturday so it was that weekend . Personally think the guy has been good for us bar the goal last week. The amount of times I thought he got a toe in last week and broke up the play was a good sign.

Unless a proper actual alternative is brought in the next week at rb I think elhamad ajer jullien boli should start every game together up to and including the rangers game . We need continuity and to give these players a chance to gel

Prediction - he comes in and looks * hot forming a great partnership with Ajer.

Every * goes daft at why he wasn’t played against Cluj. Rightly so...

He probably not fit enough to play Two games per week yet.
I say he wasn't played incase he pick up knock and could be out for months.

Why the * does everything need to be a conspiracy:56:

He’s a new player, being bedded in, getting up to scratch fitness wise and trying to adapt to a new country and team.

Gee the guy a couple a of months and then we can judge his ability.

That's an easy cop out though why did we throw in El Hamed and Bolingoli when they were signed

They were sort of forced in due to us not having proper cover there, you can tell Elhamed isn't fully ready, and the less said about bolingoli the better. Jullien had Simunovic who could stand in for him. Don't get me wrong, he should have been ready for the Cluj games, but that might be more on Lennon than Jullien.

Not been overly impressed with what we’ve seen from him so far and surprised he didn’t play the other night but way too early for some of the comments on here.
This idea that Lennon doesn’t rate him is based on a supposed text from someone who sits in the fancy seats, is that right?

The problem is that he should be.

He’s been here since the end of June. There’s no reason he shouldn’t have been match fit for the Kalju games, never mind the Cluj tie.
