    No way do we sign this guy, far too good to be true.

    It would be a statement of intent and a sign of ambition, so it clearly won’t happen under the current regime

    While I think it is doubtful I won't rule it out. He is 26,never won a trophy, no caps and doesn't play in Europe. He may see Boyata getting into the highest ranking team in the world and think maybe that could be me. Also add a few medals to a non existing collection.

    Don’t get me wrong there’s loads of reasons why he should join Celtic...
    I just don’t have faith in the board to get the deal done, hope they prove me wrong but seen them disappoint too many times

    All common sense... all good points you would EXPECT a professional to take on board.

    But these days it really is all about money. It used to be world class players would join a "lesser league" or go home to their own nation to see out their career and hopfully add some more more medals. These days they * off to china or america for a last payday.

    The younger, even less talented players today are no different. Agents in their ears and instagram * have made the almighty dollar a focal point of professionalism. It matters little what is actually achieved as big * bank balance is seen as a professional achievment in itself today.

    If newcastle, southampton or palace come knocking and offer twice what we're offering 9 out of 10 will head to the epl, regardless of the detriment to their career.
