It won't be anyone like that.

Nor should it be. He needs someone with coaching experience and someone he trusts, I'd expect him to bring his usual coaching staff.

Although the rumour of Clarke has me intrigued, what a potential combination.

I can't agree wit you ILTC that it shouldn't matter - it really does. All managers work with a team they know and trust - Mourhino has literally had the same * since 2002, minus a few changes (Brendan, AVB etc).

It works better that way, they feel comfortable, get in the groove and work out their own system. I feel that's what * Ronny aswell: paired with a smooth speaking sexy Scottish *, full of * despite having done the square root of heehaw for a solid 5 years. :smiley-laughing002:

Nah, I think you're right - it'll be guys he knows. I'd prefer that.

Clarke would be brilliant, apparently a top coach.

I think he should go for Warburton. From what i hear, he has done well in his apprenticeship, and they worked well before apparently, so sort out the compensation and get him in!!:50:

Fancy it to be O'Driscoll. Steve Clarke would be a cracking addition though.

It's none of the above. Supposed to be Chris Sutton is what I've heard!

I think as long as he gets to appoint his own people and we don't impose someone on him it should be fine.

no chance he was mowbray's assistant .remember him as a player would die for the jersey .when he was assistant he just sat in the dugout with his hands in his pockets chewing gum what a let down that was

I'd take Chris Sutton, he's passionate whenever he talks about the club when he's doing commentary and he knows what he's talking about.

Think Steve Clarke would be a tremendous appointment. Good experience at the top level as assistant and as a manager.

Jogi wouldn't be a bad shout, either. Tough as nails, charismatic, knows this League inside out and likes his teams to play good football.
