    It's hilarious to me seeing the English media and fans throw their toys out the park at the prospect of another league taking their place at the top of the money tree. All this talk about Chinese money 'ruining football' when the * are totally oblivious to the fact that their league * things up for the majority of fans a long time ago!

    Chelsea should just punt that * Costa.

    Go out and replace him with Griezmann or someone. I suppose that is the one problem, there aren't many proper number 9's out there at the moment.

    He might be a * but he is effective at what he does. Still think he is slightly overrated though, had an argument recently with a mate about how I'd rather have Ibra before him, even at 35.

    That phrase about 'No man being bigger than the club' comes to mind when thinking about this Costa situation.

    The E.P.L. losing their league top scorer to the C.S.L. would be delightful ,I don't know what teams especially Chelsea expect when the only reason a player would join them is for the £££ ,just hope if Costa does go Chelsea don't come sniffing around here for a replacement

    The biggest clubs in Europe are just shocked to learn that players don't give a * about the "prestige" of the Premier League or the Champions League. They're learning that the only thing they can offer is money, and that's not how they've imagined things to be.

    Money has always been the key decision for many players. That's the reason half the players moved to England as it is. Many ordinary players earn a fortune in England.

    I'm enjoying watching this and it'd be good if they got Costa. It's one thing buying the fringe players, but Costa would be a big statement.

    He can have his cake and eat it, a couple of years collecting the cash in China and then back to a top club in Europe still in his early 30's to win some serious silverware.

    The supposed fee (likely speculative media bullshit) is the problem, if bench warming Oscar is worth 50+ mil to China then Costa is easily worth 100 mil.

    In regards to Costa it does.

    If he is trying to push through a better deal etc then Conte is doing the right thing and dropping him. If he wants to start his moaning then he should be punted. That's what I'd want us to do.

    No abramovich, then no costa drogba cech mourinho conte anelka hazard schevchenko. players like terry lampard cole etc. would have moved on to pastures greener sooner.

    Belotti would be the better fit. A more like for like replacement in comparison to Dybala.

    Would not be surprised if they attempted to bring back Lukaku again.
