I think with the sums of money being thrown about its only a matter of time before they will all be household names to football fans

Got to laugh at the English pundits saying it's ridiculous and unfair at the money they're throwing about

Couldn't compete with it but I seriously doubt they'll get the biggest players from European clubs no matter what they offer.

the irony of all the english moaning that its unfair the chinese clubs are paying mammoth fees and wages. the EPL has ruined modern football single handedly...i long for the day that bubble bursts

They can only have about 4 foreign players at each club, so as things stand they're not going to be taking over club football any time soon.

Wenger and Conte being concerned about players being lured over by money. Just shows the delusion goes right to the top down south.

Aye they'll be panicking, they'll think it's only their league that should be allowed to spend obscene amounts of money :84:

Wenger is just * because credible interest from China allows Sanchez and Ozil to demand a couple of hundred extra grand per week on top of what they're already getting.

    Pity that.

I was thinking one of them might win the Champions League within the next couple of years.

The Korean teams tend to dominate that, but Guangzhou have won it a couple of times over recent years.

Totally irrelevance, won't have any impact on any of Europe's major clubs,

Were managed by World Cup winner Marcello Lippi for a few years. He's now in charge of the Chinese national team.

I think the Chinese league will attract big names at the end of their career. Or 2nd level players who want a payday. But I cant see how they will ever attract the elite players. Are the real elite players really going to give up earning 200k+ a week living in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris or London for multiple times that to live in Henan or even Beijing playing in a much less glamorous environment? Money can only buy so much.
