Should have never been signed in the first place.

These loans with no chance of buying the player won't help us progress, the likes of Edouard are loan transfers we should be making, not bpl reserves whose only reason for joining is so they can be loaned to a club willing to pay them more wages the next season.

Kid has the ability so it must be down to work ethic or attitude.

Maybe, just maybe, he is not handling being away from friends/ family very well. Think the club would try to help if it were the case but he is a young kid and maybe its just too big a step up for him at this time.

He’s 21 or 22, so not a young kid anymore.

I don’t think his mum being glad to have him back close and his Mrs not liking Glasgow have anything to do with Musonda “bad mouthing” the club.

You’re right too, he was given a golden chance against Zenit which he passed with flying colours then we barely saw him again.

If we were tracking him for a year and a half as claimed, you'd think that we would of noticed how lightweight he is. Seems bad judgement on the club's part..

I watched a documentary about young footballers - it's on YouTube but I can't remember its name. It talked about young footballers in the elite academies that are being paid huge wages without playing senior football. Sometimes their agents advise against loaning to lower teams and lower leagues because the players' value can diminish if they don't perform for those teams. You can be a wonderkid as long as people don't see that you're not.
I'm not saying this is the case here. As far as I can see, there is no official news about him returning to Chelsea. His absence from the match day squads has been strange.

Can't remember what age Stan was when he 1st came here but it's well known how he struggled add to that he couldn't even speak english, so i can't really see how charlie struggling here could be worse than what Stan had, I think it's more of an attitude issue, even before he came here i recall reading a lot of stuff about his attitute from what people were saying down south and that was ringing alarm bells for me back then. So perhaps they were right.
Personally i think he's more interested in his social media personna rather than putting in some hard work and getting stuck in.

Wanyama came here aged 19 from a lower-league Belgian team, born in Nairobi, Kenya, and still adjusted, developed and pushed on to become a top-rated player. We provide players with a massive opportunity, up to them to take it.

Skip to for 53.20 for some great insight into Musonda from one of the guys on the 90mincynic who got to observe training at Lennoxtown a few weeks ago.
Granted it's only one persons observation but it seems a lack of maturity/poor attitude as well as his lack of physicality.

He looked good at Betis before Poyet took over and made a mess of things, would've been curious to see how he would've developed under Setien tbh
