I noticed that too in past games watching Dortmund. On BT Hargreaves especially talks up Dembele all the time as if he's the best player since sliced bread. Always says "definitely a future Balon d'or winner" but he is a very inconsistant player. From week to week seems to flirt between unplayable and Momo Sylla got a lot of progressing to do when you consider guys like Ribery, Robben, Reus, Hazard have never won it.

Don Hutchinson kept calling him a Balon D'or winner as well..

He's obviously quality but looked terrible in both legs..

As for if the Dortmund manager being sour grapes then I can't really blame him. Defender caught up and missed out both legs cause of it and they were definitely hampered and affected by what had happened in some form..

I still think Monaco would've been too good for them but they've got a legitimate case to feel hard done by playing catch up from the first leg..

Was Monacos first goal not offside against them last week too, with how important that is it played a part as well.

Dembele is still young but he is extremely inconsistent. Pulisic impresses me much more and he's younger.

One minute Dembele is exceptional, the next he's like that Malonga that played for Hibs. Looks as if he has no control over his limbs.

Forgot about that as well, losing a penalty that shouldnt have been given would have rattled them a bit too.

Shows the standard of officials in the Champions League. Just those 4 Quarters there was allsorts of bad decisions, Bayern soft penalty V Real, Atletico penalty for foul outside the box against Leicester, Monaco soft penalty against Dortmund, Monaco offside goal against Dortmund. Real Madrid 2 offside goals V Bayern, Vidal getting sent off for nothing, Casemiro staying on the pitch when he could have been booked 2/3 times after getting booked.

Pulisic is definitely a smarter player, he plays like a player who is older that he is. Seems to have a good footballing brain on him.

Dembele is good, 2 good feet, skillful, quick can hit decent set peices and beat players for fun but at this stage either tries to do too much or chooses wrong options. Still only 19 I think, could be frightening when he is 22/23.

Just hope Juve don't win it. Most teams are cheating cunts in Europe but can't stand their team especially. If i was to hope for a winner it'd be Atletico.

I don't like any of the teams left in it, so not really bothered who does.

I don't know why, but I fancy Atletico's chances against Real in a semi rather than the final.

Hope Juve win it purely for Buffon. Would love to see him win the CL.
