I kind of feel sorry for Jose tbh. I know he's a * but the unproffessional prima donnas at Real give him a right run for his money.
The likes of Ozil and Modric are wasted there. Depressing to see how pathetic Kaka is nowadays as well. He actually played well when he came on last night but is just a sorry shell of a footballer now.

Hope Bayern pump Barca rotten once more tonight.

What's that all about?

Barca really need to sign an out and out striker. If Messi isn't starting they are usually quite toothless upfront.

 

Modric and Ozil are only wasted there because the way they play and they only play the way they play because Mourinho.

Ramos and Pepe are two quality, quick, strong defenders who are good on the ball, similar players to Kompany but Mourinho has them playing like thugs who are constantly trying to foul, injure or impose their roughness on the opposition and wind up the opposition to give Madrid a better chance, especially in big games. If they would just concentrate on playing football they'd be great but they focus too much on the opposition.

The rest of the team are workman like and their only tactic is to get the ball forward quick and shoot on sight or dive for freekicks around the box. No style or fluidity to their play, just over run, over power, wind-up, foul, complain and dive their way to snatching wins. Hunnish tactics.

With the players they have, they could play quality Bayern/Dortmund/Barca style possession attacking football.

Casillas can pass from the back, Ramos and Pepe are good on the ball, Marcelo and Coentrao are quality attacking full-backs, Modric and Alonso are class on the ball in deeper positions and they have quality at the top end of the park. Mourinho is only interested in winning and he * up and never won because he made quality players play worse than they could to try and make them, make the opposition worse than they were.

Aye, the sooner Mourinho is gone, the better. We can hopefully see the Madrid that entertained the football world. I liked Madrid until that * took over

Javi Martinez is a stick-on to get booked and miss the final.

He is a class act, I'm a massive fan. But he throws himself into tackles and his lack of pace will see him catch someone late tonight.

Will be a shame if he does.
