This is true, and there is no denying their quality. But like I say, at this moment in time they are rudderless, not playing as a team and very low in confidence. If we beat them in Germany, we can take them again at Parkhead. Second place is still very much up for grabs, lets leave talk of European football after Christmas as a little afterthought, shall we ?
The main dish is still the two games with Bayern.

On top of the £1.5m for winning a group game.

It's all about the coefficient though. A run in Europa cup would more more beneficial in the long run. Bear in mind we just humbled one of last year's quarter finalists.

Any else like me and a wee bit conflicted over where I would like us to finish in this group?. Imagine we did pull of a minor miracle and finish above Bayern, it would be an unbelievable achievement but we'd be out of Europe in last 16. If we finished 3rd we could have a real go at the Europa league, a tournment that Ajax (who aren't much better than us) got to the final in. A European league run just sounds so much more exciting than a last 16 cl.:giggle1:

If we somehow manage to finish above Bayern you don't think that with the right draw in the last 16, we could progress? Bayern are a last 16 team, Bayern are last 8, last 4 even a lot of years. If we put them out then bring anyone on! :boxing:

Realistically we'd only have a chance against the winners of group E and G which looks like it's going to be Sevilla and besiktas. I think we'd get a pumping off the other group winners.
I feel a quarter final Europa league run is very doable, that's just more appealing to me than probably be pumped out of Europe in February.
In saying that I'll be doing somersaults in we beat Bayern.:giggle1:

Ah you are correct. 5 bonus points for making last 16. We have 10.5 just now so another win and maybe a draw would have us at 18.5. That 2 years in a row would make a world of difference

That's mental, hadn't clocked that Besiktas had won their first two games. Makes you think about how we would feel, as fans, about Celtic doing so well. It's a very exciting time to be a Celtic fan, but I wonder if Besiktas fans feel even better than we do, do they feel like "this could be their year" etc?

Ha ha ha, does anyone ever look at that transfermarkt ?! They have got Anderlechts squad value at almost double Celtics at €99 million. Ours is at just under €52 million !! They value their Polish striker at €12.5 million then Griffiths at €2.25 million, laughable !! Here's the links to them both, some of their market values for our players really are pitiful :

Market values are based off past transfer fees I think, we buy cheap gems, they obviously have more money to waste.

Judging by the crazy fees thrown around in the EPL nowadays i would slap a £40 million price tag on Griffiths and nothing less,* it make it £45 million.
