The Italian forward has yet to make the breakthrough at Manchester United, although he is highly-rated in the corridors of Old Trafford and is rated as one for the future by Sir Alex Ferguson.

Rossi started last season on loan at Newcastle United and finished it playing a key role in helping Claudio Ranieri’s Parma avoid relegation from Serie A, yet returns to England this summer.

However, Gordon Strachan is believed to be set to make an offer to loan the striker for the first part of the season, although ideally he would like him at Parkhead for the full campaign.

 

With the Adriano , Torres and Owen rumours i read that headline thinking we might be after Rooney .

My pal is a season ticket holder at old trafford and he told me this kid is class! he said that he can turn a defender so fast its unreal. i must admit iv not seen much of him but if anything it will give us another year to find a long term partner for big Jan...

He would be really godd material for Jvoh he is an assisting striker but I think we should not get another striker we don't need to enforce the area anymore.

 

Rossi No Nasimith NO !! ....Craig Bellamy for heavens sake we need quality . No point in getting a young kid in on loan look what happned when he went to Newcastle . Also Alliadiere was pants too dont like loan signings of youngsters . Differece with Bellers is that hes top class

He's a superb player, but there's something about havin him on loan that doesn't sound well. Maybe it's the fact that he could be great but we couldn't keep him. Either way, he's a very skillful player, would be an excellent addition

How am i narrow minded ?/ Because i want to sign a quality striker instead of some kid whos just starting out .
What did he do at Newcaste ? NOTHING
He did well at Parma because Italianian fotball is more auited to him

Bit of a difference between Italians and Italian Americans in terms of image anyway. Did you ever see the Simpsons episode where Lisa tries to learn Italian but picks up a copy of 'Italian for Italian Americans'. Italians do a lot less '* you..no * you' stuff.

Rossi would be a great signing even if it was only for 6 months.He would be a good foil for Big Jan

 

No, your narrow minded because you only think the players that are expensive as * are quality. This lad is quality, more than anything we've got upfront atm

 

Gr8 wee player, wether we need him the now is a diff story if we get rid of sum then he would be a good addition
