the ball moved on mcgregor's penalty as well as Rogic's.

i'm not using this as an excuse, just pointing it out. we shouldnt have needed to rely on pens against that mob. or extra time for that matter.

It was very similar to some of our European matches under Deila where we should have went in as favourites and were out-played for huge spells in the match. His tactics are dismal and too obvious which has been the case since he arrived. We were always going to be out-played in the midfield with his choice of wide players. Two wingers doesn't work.

Should have removed him over a season ago and there have been plenty of opportunities since. Good players don't become bad over night.

For those who are in love.....
A few thing's never went our way. No luck on there first goal as it was our throw and Broony's touch fell right in to Miller's path. The penalty bobble. The Roberts miss was unreal and Griffiths free kick off the woodwork and keeper's back for a corner instead of goal but apart from Thomson being dreadful again....we have zero complaints. We were beaten and passed off the park by a lower league side who schooled us..

That is just completely unacceptable given where and how both club's have been during the last 4 year..

We have every right to be angry and embarrassed today. I bet those working at the club aren't though..

johansen is a dud. Rogic should stay and be our no.10 every week.

Scott Brown isnt good enough to play in that midfield against a good opposition. Stick him there against hamilton or motherwell but thats it.

Patrick Roberts is to young to take on such an experianced team. again play him against "easier" teams.

we had a big warning off this when we couldn't score against Dundee in 180 minutes. So why play the same team...

Awful performance all round, first half was probably the worst I've seen us play under Ronny. I think it says something that we played that badly but still managed to not get beat - and in fairness to the Huns (as much as it's painful to say it) they played some good stuff. If we had turned up we could have easily beat them, but we didn't and something has to give. Presumably Ronny will be gone in the summer and a lot of those who started yesterday should go too.

Bad tactics, bad performance and bad luck. Really wasn't our day :54:

That's because Rogic kicked * out the penalty spot, you do that and then step on the surrounding area you take the consequences.

I thought he was attempting a field goal the way he was digging into the spot (that's what kickers do to get the ball suited for high kicks). Do that on the footy park and your asking for trouble.

As someone said, a bobbly park would've done us the world of good as they taught us a lesson with keeping the ball.

We allowed the huns to pass the ball about their midfield and defence for far too large a spells of the match, the first half about 50% of the game seemed to be them just passing back and across midfield then back to their defence then back to midfield while we just stood off them and watched time tick away.

Happened for spells in the 2nd half too, think with them doing that it tired our players out a lot more than they were as they weren't having to do much running.

We should have moved to 2 up front so that they couldn't hold the ball as easily.

Game was pretty even and we probably should have won with the chances we missed but probably the set up and tacitics that done us McGregor, Rogic and Sviatchenko all played a lot better than Boyata, Johansen and GMS and really should have started before them in hindsight.

Our record at Hampden these last few years is nothing short of abysmal. Regardless of what others say and "how hard it is to be done" - we should have won a treble after what happened to the huns.

we used to play like that the idea is to make the opposing team chase you around the park and it tires them out and spaces develop

strachan and then lenny had us playing possession passing based football and that seemed to be the way we were always going to play then ronnie came in and tore it all up and now we don't seem to have a philosophy at all of how to play the game

Aye, we've lost there to Sevco, Hearts, Kilmarnock, Ross County, Inverness all the last 5? years. 1 or 2 of them you'd say was normal but to lose basically once a year at Hampden against worse sides is shocking.

Lenny had semi-final syndrome too, let's not forget that, it's just that it caught on pretty quickly to Deila & co too.

We shat it enough times too with Lennon after an initial decent start.

ive never seen brown as a confidence player but he was awful yesterday his passing was way off then it spreaded to the whole team, then he gifted the goal to miller and you wouldnt have thought his performance could have got any worse but it did, his head just went down and that again had a terrible effect on the team, it was left to the kid kieran tierney to show some spirit cause no else seemed to have any

what the * has happened to them mentally, how can the play so well domestically last year then play so * awfully this year ?

is it simply the players rebelled against the manager and coaches and the coaches should really have been sacked ?

thats the way it looks to me and lawwell stuck with the coaches to the detriment of the players and the football operation as a whole

No idea why the * Ronny decided to start him. Is he * blind? It's like the way he persevered with Armstrong on the left when we could all see he was abysmal there.

    The morning after.....................

As if the post vodka fear wasn't bad enough, I am haunted by that performance yesterday. Sometimes once you calm down a bit after a match you realise things maybe aren't as bad as you thought they were in the heat of the moment but that is definitely not the case this time. This Celtic team is bad.

I never take losing to Rangers or Sevco well. I never will either. It's not just the fact that we lost though, it's the way we lost. They completely outpassed us for the vast majority of that game yesterday. Considering the fact that we have better players than they do, that is just totally unacceptable. There is also quite a serious lack of steel and bottle in this Celtic team. How many nightmares at Hampden have we endured in the last few years? It's got to the point where every time we reach a semi-final I am expecting disaster to strike. It should be other teams fearing coming to Glasgow to play us on the big stage but all too often it is us that seems to be crippled by fear. That has to change.

I actually feel sick every time I think about it. Losing to Sevco. * *. :54:

He was drinking vodka..................... a lot of vodka.

His mind is still boogled, it'll pass, unlike our team.

For all Rangers had a lot of the ball, they didn't really do much with it. We allowed them to pass sideways too easily.

We scored 2 goals and really should have had more. Both of their goals came with a bit of luck. First one the ball landed in the right position, second one was never their throw and he'll never hit another shot like that again.

They were far more up for the game than us. To get any success they needed to be at their best and for us to be bad and that's exactly what happened.

They needed the breaks and they got them. They had the luck and we had none.

On another day we'd have stuck a couple of those chances away and went on to win very easily.

    Obviously that just didn't happen.

All this they passed us off the park and are a much better team is going way over the top.

Agreed, we had nae luck and they had a lot... but facts are facts. They may not have done 'much' with the ball in possession, but they were better in possession than this expensively-assembled bloated Celtic team.

Has there been a press conference yet??! Just finished work on the train home. Nothing breaking on BBC. What the * is going on??!!!!!??!
