Taylor actually defended well enough, just when he had the ball at his feet a lot he was sending quite a few stray telegraphed passes straight back to the opposition

thought Bauer was opposite, his passes and crosses looked good but would like to see him winning a few more tackles

I know did anyone notice big Sutton getting his wee Celtic won their last 9 games in a row

    scored 31 and conceded 4

2 v Hibs when we were always in control, 1 tonight when game was already won and 1 in Italy

I think that is a fair assessment of the two but Taylor has played some good attacking football in his last few games for club and Country so this could just have been an off day.

Yeah mate agree, not easy just to come in from the cold when you’re only taste of European fitbaw is getting knocked oot in the first round by a team of part time Welsh farmer s

bet when he trooped of rugby park that night in August he didn’t think he would be playing a part in a team winning a group with lazio Rennes and cluj

Strangely that hadn't crossed my mind. Shame the national team can't take advantage

Good point mate, what was odds on us winning the group? Would probably have been decent for us just to go through, we were definitely 3rd favourite s
In hindsight obviously financially champions league were you want to be but I’m really glad now cluj put us out champions league , cause we wouldn’t have experienced they 3 cracking night s at hame and the one in Rome and as much as we have improved we would probably be sitting it out in some champions league group fighting it oot with Genk or Lille for a 3rd place spot

Quality performance. Quality campaign. Thought Christie was unbelievable as per. His tracking back and tackling was * class. His touches and control under pressure, some good passing and a goal too. Smashing game. Mikey is some talent too. This is how it feels to be Celtic

Terrific performance for the most part tonight and fantastic result overall.

Lazio winning the other game means we top the Group and cannot be caught with a game to spare. Happy days!

Managed that game brilliant considering the frontline was players outside their natural positions. Struggled with their press for the first 10/15 mins then quickly sussed it out and just split them open at will.

Ntcham played some class balls, Brown and McGregor ran the midfield and the movement and pace from the front 3 was excellent. Defence done well and big Fraser with some great saves again.

So good to see wee Johnstone back, creates stuff from nothing, magic feet and that was a fantastic team goal, liquid football.

Great result. Which the way the group has panned out it was like a training game at one point.
