A few straight forward games to get them running, we’re going to demolish everyone this 2nd half of the season btw, calling it now.

Hahaha I thought he'd be a useful signing, thought there was potential, just worried why Rodgers started him up front last 2 games instead of Weah. Great start, but 2 goals at home against St. Mirren wont change my concern for the next match. Same goes for someone like MJ. I'll be more than happy to eat humble pie though if he keeps banging them in. Hail Hail. What a night.

Definitely mate, just like pointing out that a lot of the time Brendan will see stuff in training that makes him trust a player to do the role he wants them to.

See Burke’s workrate tonight and his closing down, that set the stage right throughout the team and it’s the reason they couldn’t string two passes together.

See if our team works as hard as they did tonight against every other team in the league, then we don’t lose.

Good performance tonight high press kept them from getting out easily still trying to figure out how we committed more fouls than them and how Lustig was the first player to be booked. St Mirren had 2 players go off injured but their players were going down after a tackle to break up the flow of the game aided by a referee only to eager to stop the game and ignore most of the pulling back and bad tackles

I thought he played really well, and Weah is a bundle of energy aswell. I know people will say it’s only St Mirren but Brown was superb.

I was thinking that as well. Every time a Celtic player touched one of them they were on the ground rolling around. Obviously the lad who went off in the first half was not faking it but clearly faking injury to break up the flow and waste time was part of their game plan last night.
Thought how we pressed the ball last night was very good. Real energy to the performance and could easily have had more then 4. Good solid performance which hopefully we can build on now come Saturday.

lol ya roaster just waiting for posts so you can quote them back, What's wrong with preferring a natural striker playing as a striker?, I even posted in the burke thread that he done well etc.

Ever have a thought i'd like to see him playing in his natural position? if he cannot dislodge Forrest then he would atleast keep him on his toes.

lets face it Weah would well have had more than 2 last night....* he nearly had 2 being on the park like 5 minutes.

Nah was just surprised someone who would go to the effort to quote all those posts either didn't read my comments in the burke thread or just chose to ignore them to try and make me look like I was moaning when in fact I was stating my opinion that Weah should have started.

Also I do like burke I just think Weah is the better striker
