watched this match in corrallejo last nite myself in a lil pub , as the game went on couple people stopped for few mins to watch it and stayed , then some girls stopped to see what we were watchin and they stayed , then some man city fans stopped to find out a result and stayed to watch , the guy who runs the bar said it was the biggest crowd he had for a footie match since he opened lol and it was magic as celtic scored the winner and everyone was up and cheering, you know only celtic does that to people ,,,,,,

Could bring a tear to a glass eye. This team would have had Burns and Stein smiling imo.

Has anyone found any Extended Highlights with Sky Sports commentary? Or better yet, the full game?

    Cheers.

Was looking through the pictures thread and I actually feel a bit sorry for these guys now. This was the biggest match in their history. Possibly the biggest most of their players will ever play in. Can you imagine what it would have meant to them had they got an away goal and qualified for the group stages?
Hope they make it some day.

They got beat by Celtic, to them that's the same as us getting dropped out by Barcelona, they will have felt they done proud, and been glad of the experience, their journey continues in the Europa though, and if they put in the same dedication that they did in CL qualifying then they will do well.

Provided it's not at our expense. It's still an unbelievable achievement for them to be playing in the Europa League. They're the first Kazakh side to reach the group stages of European competition so they'll be ecstatic once they get over the initial disappointment.

Anyway, I'd have felt more sorry for them playing against Barcelona, Milan and Ajax. I don't think that would've been pretty. :smiley-laughing002:

:50: I think they'll give a good account of themselves in the Europa League.

Group L: AZ Alkmaar, PAOK Thessaloniki, Maccabi Haifa, Shakhter Karagandy.

It's doable for them if they put in a shift,I'll be keeping an eye out for their results.

Don't know, they were 1 goal away from knocking 2 CL teams out of the qualifying stages. They don't play pretty but their set pieces and throw ins are very effective.
