Think about it game one, they basically had nothing to loose at all. Still defended. This game there the ones with everythig to loose. They will bottle it. We will win. We will go through to the champions league, and we will win it.

I'd play the most attacking team possible, go for an early goal.

    Forster

    Matthews Van Dijk Mulgrew Izzy

    Brown Ledley

    Samaras Commons Boerrigter

    Stokes

Was struggling to leave out Balde and Forrest.

big balde to become a hero. I feel we will need the big man to stick his head on the end of a cross and with domination we are going to have he can park his * on the penalty spot. When you think about the chances we created from crosses the last day i feel a big score coming up for us. Their will be lots of crossing so hopefully the quality is good because we lack creativity to break the blanket defences through the middle!

Serious questions will be asked of Lennon if neither Stokes or Balde start next week.

I just hope he realizes this. We need CL football every season until we have proper competition in the league again, and things begin to get exciting on the domestic front. That could be years away though.

    Matthews--ambrose--mulgrew--izzy
    ----------brown----ledley----------
    sammy-----commons---boerighter
    ---------------stokes--------------

plenty of experience and pace in that team, Sammy and derk running at them getting chances into stokes, hopefully we get an early goal and the fans take the roof off.
Hopefully the team push forward and don't leave stokes isolated.

Lennon's team selection and set up cost us on Tuesday night, I just hope he learns from his mistakes and plays the right team next Wednesday.

The team was good enough to get something from tuesdays game ....wish people would stop having a go at lennon every poor result ...we hit the bar and had 2 more chances from mulgrew and forrest with headers ....

The team was good enough yes, if we had played players in the correct positions. He should have learned something from the Elfsborg game, and that Samaras needs to be played as a left midfielder. Why take our best European performer in Europe last year, and change his position. Where does that make sense? Why start with two players at centre half who have no European experience and haven't ever played together. One had only played half an hour of competitive football. And worst of all, why not change it when things aren't going to plan.

I gave Lennon all the praise in the world for the results last year in Europe, and he deserved it. I thought he was growing as a manager. But away in Elfsborg, and especially on Tuesday, just goes to show how tactically naive he still is. Lennon was our biggest downfall on Tuesday.

Sammy missed a sitter as well. Van Dijk missed 2.

The set up was still wrong though, no fluency to our play and no proper striker up front.

I'd find a way to show my disgust at the board in someway for not replacing 20M worth of talent

As has been said the crowd if they do boo, it won't be aimed at the players who i am sure will give everything they have. It will be aimed towards the board, and maybe even lennon if his tactical decisions are as bad as they were in the first leg.
