Just noticed that not 1 of the Leipzig starting 11 were German, whereas we started with 5 Scottish players !!

I think we can beat anyteam at home with out a doubt to get far in this tournament... But we need to improve away from home either draw or try to get an away goal and lose by one solitary goal because if leipzig was a knock out fornat we would be out

For those who are in love.....
Been saying this for year's but the lack of credit we get for how many Scottish player's we regularly play and how many academy graduates we have, does my * in..

For a side who has the most readies in the country by a mile, we could go and have a squad filled with Scandinavian/Eastern European etc talent but we don't and have produced some absolute gems and made other's..

Lustig we can argue. I mean I don't agree with you; but many would and I can see your point. However, if you think Sinclair did nothing all night, you need to watch the game again.

This was a fantastic win for a team that gave it everything.
The sense of pride the players and fans must feel is well deserved......outstanding effort.
Euro nights really do produce some magic at Celtic Park.....hail, hail.

Fantastic performance, fantastic result, could have won by more which is promising to say when you consider who we were up against.

yeah they aren't a Bayern, Juve, Barca and other mega teams we've beaten in the past but it does not demean the importance or the appreciation of just how big a result last night was.

Leipzig are 1 point off second in Germany, and 5 points off the top. Their only league loss in 10 games this season is to Dortmund away. Very good side.

Nights like last night are why it's not always easy but always worthwhile being a Celtic fan; when we lost the goal, I was fully-expecting to either eke out a draw or have them score another. Then, we immediately went up the other end of the park and scored again. * beautiful.

GET IT * UP YE BILL LECKIE

    SCUMMY *

Thought the light show was stunning tbf, took some amount of slack from everyone but didnt expect it to be like that.

Tunes were suited to it,although id like to see some songs that get the team pumped up even more.

Thunderstruck came to mind when i seen it.

Still buzzing today. I love the way this club makes you feel every minute of every day.

That was a big scalp make no bones about it. Hopefully it's the springboard for a win in Norway and a win at home, secure European football after the new year and sexy football our way to a triple treble!

I'm not even going to say 'one can dream' because it has a great chance of happening.

One can stare reality in the face.

We can beat any team at home when we play like this. Question is, why can't we? This is undoubtedly the best performance I have seen from a Celtic team in Europe since Martin O'Neil's time. They believed in each other and played with a great deal of confidence and ran Red Bull Leipzig ragged at times. We need to apply all that against Salzburg and Roseburg and who knows we could go all the way. Tierney, McGregor, Eduardo and Forest were the standouts. Only weak link I'm afraid, was Lustig.
