I’m really not the optimistic type, but i really have a good feeling about this season, something special is round the corner i think. Let’s just wait and see though, as it’s it’s only from a * like me.:56:

They actually started off really well and just before we got the first goal, started to look a bit dangerous because of some of our sloppy play, inability to retain the ball. After the goal, we scored a penalty and a freekick. Their heads dropped and our confidence started to flow. Second half was all about fitness and we completely dominated them. Some of their passing in the second half was criminal.

Opposition were crap tonight but we played really well in that system. Bitton Brown McGregor and Christie were brilliant. Doesn't suit Forrest very well but it's great to have different options available.

I’m a pessimist from a long line of pessimists and I feel the same.
Maybe it’s just the lack of sideways passing!

    Gordon
    Elhamed Jullien Tierney
    Shved Ntcham Henderson Sinclair
    Rogic
    Bayo Johnston

Hazard, Connell, Eboue, Hayes, Morgan, Dembele and Arzani

Not a bad 11 and subs of players that didn't start tonight.

I'll take just reaching the group stages, it'll be the usual European run though, when we come up against anyone decent we'll get humbled, some say the board have made some good signings but I think they've sold us short if we're wanting to do anything in Europe, sorry to put a dampener on tonight.

Same Aberdeen that have been beat off Apollon Limassol, Fola Esch, Kairat and beat 8-1 off Sima Olomouc in recent seasons?

Scottish sides are the ones that are absolutely absymal in Europe. Aberdeen would be pumping no one!

They beat Fola, Sigma was 10 years ago and the other two are far better sides than Kalju. Aberdeen would beat Kalju fairly handily.

They were also beat off Fola, Sigma was an example of how absolutely * they have been historically and Kairat are by no stretch of the imagination far better than Kalju.

I wouldn’t bet a single dime on them beating the champions of just about any European nation.

Kairat absolutely are a far better side than the fourth placed team in Estonia we just pumped 5-0. Kairat are 14/5 to win away to Hapoel Be'er Sheva for example. What do you think Kalju would be? Certainly 10/1+. They were 75/1 to beat us last night.

How did the 4th placed team in Estonia get into the Champions League qualifiers? They've also just beat the Macedonian Champions, would you have money on Aberdeen doing that because I wouldn't :56:

    Aberdeen wouldn't pump them...

They scraped by the Macedonian champions having conceded around 30 shots overall and 74% possession in the home leg. Kairat recently beat Astana 2-0 away from home. There's no argument Kairat are a much better side than Kalju.

We had a couple who of progress fans sitting next to us, with the strips on.

Looked like they had a really good time!

Love seeing other fans at our games.
