Tbf that goal was boyatas fault following his man way out and leavin a huge hole to play the ball in behind. Fair enough, if lustig was quicker he may have snuffed it out but I thought lustig had a very good game yesterday.

 

Well very often when your looking forward to a game it ends up being a shadow of what you expected but boy did that game live up to its billing. Credit to Hibernian for giving it a real go and even more credit to our team for what was a really good performance and vital win I felt. But for some better finishing and less woodwork we win that one 6-2. Really fun exciting football to watch.

 

He had a really good game going forward and tbh in domestic football that has got to be the priority.

He could’ve sat back all day and not been at fault but we’d have dropped points by failing to score like in the first months of this season. He was bold in attack and it helped win the game, that’s what should be recognised and encouraged.

 

Glad we seem to be hitting our stride. About time too!

 

Good on Lennon getting Hibs to try and play football unlike the rest of the league.Back to playing an anti football team in Hearts at the weekend

 

Anti football is always difficult on wide pitches. They will likely fail.

 

I will be in the minority here when I say I would not opt for Lennon to return to CP.
His comments and antics yesterday put paid to that.he of all people to suggest that the ref was biased in favour
of Celtic describing him as our 12th man was an outrage in my opinion.
Not recognising that his 12th man was the woodwork which saved the scoreline from being a walkover, then his antics on the touchline with the coaching staff was an embarrassment. If he were to return, I would of course support the move reluctantly, but also recognising that the focus of media attention would be on the dugout rather than what is happening on the pitch.Finally I don't think he needs the hassle second time around.

 

I don't know why he didn't just bring him on for brown in the first place...

No way would I be wanting Lennon to return to CP. Too much baggage that deflected away from the football. Im sorry but hes not Celtic class, too often Id cringe at some of his antics.

 

2 fouls to their 18 fouls , hearts game had 45 fouls lol.

 

That's what we have to prepare for, I suppose we should be ok as Lenny thinks Celtic have a 12th man looking after us.

 

I'm sure he said similar last season blaming the officials against us?

I know it's heat of the moment but he should know what we've had to put up with regarding official's and him his self, particularly when we've been on the back end of ridiculous decision after decision already this season and that Scouse slipping * going on the offensive about how they've been getting it unfairly for year's..

Poor. Just listened to exactly what was said as well and his reasoning was that Benkovic should've been carded and an offside that was a pass back. Hardly game changers..

Ano mate, Hibs have been on the end of some howling decisions since Lenny’s been there and I think he’s just beyond fed up with them. Of course he’s going to take it against his team because the ref was a * clown on Saturday. To boh teams.

Obviously, I think we’ve got the biggest gripe though because Mallan should have had about 4 bookings.

 

I remember the haydays of when Jinky,Wispy,Stevie,Bertie and Buzzbomb were at their best yet even back then we didn't hit the bar and post as much as we've done so since Brendan arrived at CP,it seems to be happening every week now.

 

.....and McGregor too.

 

Played in the game where we beat Barca 1-0 at CP and was manager of the team when we beat Barca 2-1 at CP,some teams in Spain havent nanaged to beat them in umpteen years,Lenny has done it twice,nuff said,
