Have you got 30 seconds to spare? :56:

Glad you had a great time despite that performance, let's hope the next one will be one they remember for better reasons :50:

I'm not a moaning fan at all but the facts are Anderlecht were totally out of form at home, if they played as they did last night would we have won 3-0? It's not impossible but not very likely.

Do you not understand what I'm trying to say.

You are downplaying our result in Belgium on account of them being * and us getting lucky. Yet talking their win up last night on account of them being better and deserving it.

If any team got lucky over the two games it was Anderlecht, they were a freak og from that game finishing 0-0 last night and us going through at their expense 3-0 on aggregate. On the other hand, we * trounced them in Belgium, not lucky in the slightest.

    They got lucky, we didn't.

I don't think you will find anyone but the happy clappers saying anything different, we were dug * last night and they played very well indeed and were deserved winners, don't know how that makes our win in Brussels a "freak" however

I do but the the fact is Anderlecht were nowhere near their usual level and that is just a fact whether you like it or not.

Somebody made a good point last night. If we lost 1-0 to an og in Belgium and then won 3-0 last night to progress there would be a * of a different tone on here.

The end result is the same, we more than deserved to go through because we dismantled them on their own patch.

Talking their result up??? In another thread i posted how i thought Anderlecht were overrated last night. How is that talking them up. You've gone way overboard all because i used the word freak.

I'll never forget how ecstatic everyone was when the self same thing happened when MON dismantled Ajax in their own backyard and then lost the home game but progressed anyway.

Is it just that more and more Celtic supporters are old enough to not really know anything other than success for Celtic and maybe put more unreasonable demands on the club? Genuine question by the way.

You've got yourself all wound up over hardly anything. I've never said we were incapable of playing well or getting a good result. But the fact remains that Andelecht being so poor at home contributed to the end result. That's not moaning that's just common sense.

The end result being us progressing to the last 32 and them going back to Belgium with no European football after Christmas?

We played terrible last night, they could only win 1-0 with a lucky goal. They played terrible in anderlecht and we ripped them to shreds.

    We deserved to go through.

Fell like I'm just repeating myself here so I'll leave it at that.

We’ve hardly hit our stride lately. A performance like at home to Bayern and we’d have blew them away last night. Nothing to do with how good they were. They weren’t even that good

I'm about to turn 39 so i've seen plenty of bad times and i certainly don't have any sense of entitlement where Celtic are concerned but that display last night was just so disheartening.

you wont have me disagreeing there. The end result is though that we had a 3-0 lead to protect last night and we done that, heart attack inducing at times but we are in the draw.

Home form is a concern no doubt about it.

I think we were stuck last night, didn’t want to go forward for the sake of going back. We were nervous and some of our biggest players from last season (Armstrong/Sinclair) pished the bed.
