Really good performance I felt despite the scoreline. easily could have been a 5-1 walk in the park romp. As someone said yesterday with the chances we have been missing over the last few games someone soon is going to take a real beating. But what is most important is we are playing well and creating a lot and we again showed some real mental toughness about us as a team as there was a lot of pressure on us to win that game yesterday and after missing so many chances and then going in 1-1 at half it could easily have gone wrong but we kept playing and get the winner. On the red card my opinion is that in todays game that is a red as it is reckless and putting an opponent at risk of serious injury. Just as the ref was right to book Christie earlier for diving on the edge of the box. I am always critical of players on other teams diving and I hope Christie cuts that out of his game as he is a top player having a great season. All in all a vital 3 points no question and sets up things nicely for St Stephen's day where hopefully we can just be more clinical in front of goal and keep this great run going.

Cosgrove came flying, with both feet, with little view of where the ball actually was, with a pointless slide tackle in a dead spot of the pitch, visibly out of frustration because his team didnt get a penalty the play before. He reached the ball by accident and certainly that wasnt the plan. McInnes is a * vile *, he is going to moan about this endlessly when it is him who instructs his team to play dirty against us. Like Mckennas flying scissor, that english * breaking Tierney's jaw. That is why scottish football is stuck, because the third best team of the country is managed by a loser that only gets sore about losing when its against Celtic

Red card all day long. Anybody with half a brain knows you can't tackle like that anymore even if you do get the ball.

A change of topic, does anyone else think big Fraser should have come off his line and punched the ball clear and how the * was Cosgrove able to outjump big Ajer, just my thinking on it.

    Definitely by a distance, 59,131

    Man City at home 54,415
    Newcastle at home 45,453

4th in Europe behind Barca. Bayern and Shalke, I think...

You think there were 59,131 inside CP on Saturday?

You think there were 54 thousand at the Etihad....a ground that holds 55? Be lucky if they've sold it out a handful of time's 9n title winning day's or that..

Or St James' Park. Against Palace where they're pish and Steve Bruce keeps talking about schemes to get fan's back in the ground as they don't rate him and despise the owner's :56:

We would've comfortably had the most in Britain this weekend..

You would expect anything inside the 6 yard box to be keepers and Ajer was in a perfect position to get his napper on the ball but no spring in his jump.

Have to say I don't think it was a red, the only thing is by jumping in how he did it made look a lot worse than it was. Other thing being he came in from the side which doesn't help, but thinking back to Jozo on Miller, lol.

Big Ajer did play for it too, but he did catch him and that's the chance you take.

Jozo didn't have both feet off the ground or lead with his studs. I think it's probably a red nowadays as was reckless.

Aye your probably right, actually heard Clyde saying the rule and there was a part that said endangering the opponent, so aye, guess it is. I remember them gibbering about excessive force but that other part does bring that Challenge into that category.
