I often watch other games and think 'Why can't a Scottish ref perform like that.'
The most noticible thing is refs know they can get away with * performances every week and get nothing but a slap on the wrist,ffs they should be getting demoted to 3rd division games.
A few weeks ago there was a poll on VAR in which the majority of the votes were in favour of,if it stamped out crap like we saw from the Madman then surely nobody on here could complain,it's gone on for too long and the common factor is our club being booted upside down every week,especially Keiran Tierney,enough is enough.

Decent performance and vital 3 points. Aberdeen were hard to break down but we did enough for the win no question about that and they really only had one chance of note. Boyata at the back was a deserved man of the match. Give some credit and praise to Hendry alongside of him. He has taken a lot of stick this season for some poor displays but I thought he played well yesterday including one vital piece of good boxing defending off a dangerous cross in the second half. Hopefully Sinclair getting the winner and with such a cheeky finish gives him a real boost and we see him back to his best now.

To echo what has been said above are you kidding me from the ref Boddy Madden. That tackle on Edouard was unreal. Right up there alongside McGregors kick on Ajer. But it was not just that he was dreadful all day. There was one in the second half where Scott Brown was called for a foul in our half for simply standing stock still and the Aberdeen lad ran into him and fell over.

I remember complaining maybe even during Ronny's time but more likely Brendan's first two seasons that it had become very obvious that teams were using deliberate spoiling tactics agianst us because they couldn't work out any other way to win. There is no way no one at our club brought it up in a closed door official capacity. All I can think is that silly rule where the book says if a ref has already seen what you're complaining about then there's not much they can do.

That seems far fetched also but possibly I'm wrong and Brendan said * it, we'll do it without their help because it's so obvious that I would only be walking into some kind of tables getting turned situation and they probably got the table fitted so it did spin round.

When it really dawned on me was the game KT played Aberdeen I'm sure and a player followed through on him and it was claimed an accident. He already is constantly on the end of persistent fouling but that guy nearly broke his leg, and folk said it was an accident don't over react but as I said then, professional footballers train almost every day into their * life and I know what happens when you learn something so intensely, you see the game at a much faster speed than us mere mortals, not that I'm patronising anyone here, just trying to make the point that he had plenty of time to withdraw from that challenge, the ball was fecking out of play for goodness sake.

And KT is, like Broony a player who we're all very protective off so any nasty dangerous challenges on him are going to elicit an emotional response. I know that doesn't always make for reasoned logic but the basics of what yous are saying is true, it's been happening for ages and when we look back and think of the complete lack of expression on Madden's face it becomes clear that he knew, he seen it and he knew it was a penalty and a red because Eddy had to go off.

That could've been a huge game changing moment, thank goodness Sincy had his cool as a cucumber head on. Btw that is an example of how professional players can see the game in slow motion, he checked the amount of space he had, judged how long he had and used all the time available to make sure he was precise.

Basically drained myself now because there's nothing more that can be said or done that hasn't already been enough to influence the situation. I think they're relying on folk like me who easily forget once we've won the league and double trebles how absolutely shocking Scottish referees are in general but the extra special leniency afforded teams playing us. Conspiracy theory says the SFA are trying to level the playing feild to make the league more interesting as the TV deal is getting renewed.

If they split it up again it will tell us everything we need to know about the standard of minds making the most important decisions for the whole of Scotland.

Even by Madden's standards if that is the word to use he was a disgrace on Saturday. The Edouard incident is the obvious highlight call. But he was at it pretty much all game long.
