    Deila, meanwhile, has dismissed fresh speculation from Belgium linking him with a move for Club Brugge central defender Brandon Mechele.

    “I haven’t heard that name lately,” said Deila. “I think it is hard to buy players from Brugge. We are looking all the time but I am happy with the players I have. Some players might go out and some may come in. We keep on working and there 
are still three weeks left in the transfer window.”

    It would be nice if Celtic to maybe get Van Dijk's replacement in early so as that we don't have to play bomb scare's like Ambrose!? If this is the guy we have identified as Virgils replacement then we should get him in asap!

    This guy would be the replacement for VVD, I'd imagine.

    Assuming we get £12m+ for Virgil, if we could get this guy for £3m it would be good business.

    We'll see, I reckon United should make short work of Brugge to be fair. You want to see him doing well against a good side but that might alert others to him and drive his price up? But maybe United handing them a pumping will make his mind up to come here? Dunno. Just want one more good signing asap!
