Maybe someone on the forum could do some research online eg. watch videos and report back with their findings?

Aye, reminds me of that case of a female athlete American? Who has a naturally higher level of testorone then her counterparts and she was potentially being asked to take something to bring it down?

Next be is not at you BTW just incase you think it might be.

Kids at the age of 6 are being taught or it's being arranged to be taught, about acceptance and love, that while they may have a mummy and daddy, their classmate might only have one parent, 2 mums, 2 dads, trans parents and so on and so on and that it's OK for that to be a thing.

And that education is * critical because let's face it, kids can be * cruel to each other and they need educating on what is ok, if parents want to protest the teachings of love and acceptance then to me, they further prove the point how important that those lessons take place.

They learn about much worse things that age, death and murder chief among this.

I think anyone who really believes homophobia doesn’t exist is incredibly naive. ‘Gay’ ‘*’ etc are still derogatory words used to insult even when the context isn’t homosexuality which in itself says a lot.

As far as * education goes - kids aren’t getting taught how to * ffs :giggle1: they’re getting taught that there is such a thing as masturbation, and that it’s normal and completely healthy. What was the perception of masturbation before it was introduced into * education? Unhealthy, dirty, even dangerous.

On that point, what was the perception of homosexuality before it was brought up as part of a sexual education programme? Immoral, unnatural and deserving of ridicule often leading to a culture of discrimination and violence against individuals based on their sexual orientation.

So you would be happy to have your 8 year old child discussing touching themselves with their teacher?

That isn't happening. It's in your head.

You really have to wonder what is going on inside the heads of those running the education authority that would deem this as appropriate education for infants in the first place.

My kids would be kept home until it's sorted, simple as.

Christian Concern and an old git right wing mp rewording things to fit their agenda? And your agenda too of course.

Homophobia is still common, some don't like it but keep quiet but some are very vocal. I worked with a woman who burst into a anti gay rant at work out of nowhere. She told her friend (who she had known since school) that what she did was disgusting. I have no idea how they remained friends. She used an excuse "I'm Persian and that's part of our culture" and her friend stupidly accepted it. She used that excuse for being a * quite often and on a separate occasion where she went on a random rant about trans people. I wanted to say how her Persian culture would accept her * married men but I would have lost my job.

I disagree. I think the teaching outlined would be age appropriate and of value to the children.

    It depends on the context.

Scenario 1 - Kids get taught that masturbation exists, that it’s natural, and that the rumours about it turning you blind or giving you hairy palms are bullshit. They also get taught that it’s something that should only ever be done in private.

Scenario 2 - teacher sitting there with his * out giving the kids masturbation tips.

I think it’s likely that it’s scenario 1 that happens and I have no problem with that. Trying to protect kids from * in an age of digital media is naive imo. It’s much more practical to lay things out as they are.
