Can anyone mind a Celtic CD with Di Canio and Cadete on the front in the bumblebee tops, think it was called Green and white gold, or green, white and gold and im sure it had the Di Canio song on it. Was the first CD I ever bought.

To johnboy19 - thanks for the memory.
I too was at that game. In the Jungle.
    80,000 others were there.
It was a rearranged game on a Monday night in May 1979.
It was a wonderfully warm summers night.
It was Celtic's last game of the season and we were leading the Huns by a point.
They had a further game to play (at home to Thistle two days later) and so only a win would win us the league.
After taking the lead 1-0 we found ourselves 1-2 down at half time.
To boot as you rightly say, we were down to 10 men after Johnny Doyle had been sent off.
The second half was in my opinion - Lisbon 67 apart of course - the best 45 minutes of football I have witnessed Celtic play.
We scored three great goals - especially Murdo Macleods thunderbolt - and ran out comfortable 4-2 winners and Champions!!!!!
It was so good, it brought many thousands of Hoops fans to tears all around me.
STV had a strike on and the game was never televised. There is little footage of the game to be found, only a few minutes of a black and white grainny footage.
However, the game will be forever engrained in my memory.
And yes, Sailing and many other songs would have been sung that night.
(The Huns beat Thistle 2-0 on the Wednesday but it meant nothing, we were Champions!!)

Listen to that song, "The New Firm" featuring Dalglish and Jardine from 1975 'Each Saturday'.

Dalglish "Who dae you play fur"
    Jardine "The Champions"
Dalglish "The Champions? You've only got it on rent, 1 outta 10"
Jardine "We've got another 9 to go"
    Dalglish "Aye, we'll see"

Just watching Hertha v Bayern. The Hertha fans to a man are holding aloft their scarves like us at kick off and they are singing we are sailing in German. Coincidence that. But they treat it like we do YNWA.

That is quite a coincidence, wonder why they sing that. I must try and catch their next home game, sounds cool.

    Dortmund also sing YNWA.

Don't know. I'm just waiting on our game, so killing a half hour. But yes Dortmund, Monchengladbach and a few others sing YNWA.

It was sung in the mid 90's aswell.

    I remember it.
