    You've gotta love Cadete :56:he was a funny one, but man he sure could score goals.

    I thought we deserved more that season, Tommy had us playing great football, just had some bad luck with key players getting injured at crucial stages of the season.

    And then there was Cadetes goal at ibrokes :47:

    Have another thing that kind of relates to this. Balde did an interview with the evening times cerca 05. He for some reason I don't know took a pic pointing out my brick in the stadium. Still have the newspaper.

    The whole squad were on my easyjet flight back to Gatwick from Glasgow on the Sunday evening after we won the league cup (this season , they were all going on the * in London ) . Saw them all in the departure lounge , they nearly didn't get on the flight because one of them was cheeky/rude to one of the girls at security desk , top brass came down and they had to apologise or were getting chucked off. All acting like a bunch of daft boys to be honest , Callum Mcgregor in particular very loud and silly. Luck would have it I was sat next to Broony , bought me two whiskies, bought two rounds for the whole squad. Asked me a few questions about how often i go up to games etc etc , what time I had to be up in the morning , my work and stuff like that. Every other word was a swear word. Eughon O'Connell tried to order food when the hostess was dishing out the drinks and Broony says " Oi Eughon you cheeky * i said a * drink , I'm no made of money " . Du Vries shouts over to Broony " Are we going on the * when we win the title?" Broony replies " Aye, and after the treble " . Du Vries was chatting away to Logan Bailly in a foreign language the whole time ( both sat behind us). Mcgegor pulled a big bottle of greygoose out of his carry on bag and a few others had spirits aswell. Forrest , Roberts and Rogic were all quiet, Sinclair was pretty funny, Brown kept shouting over to him asking him questions about how to avoid the paps in London (half joking ). Brown and " sinky " as he calls him seemed like good pals. Brown the clear leader of the pack though , proper captain on and off the pitch . ( Dembele, Tierney , Griffiths , Toure the notable absentees). There was about 15 off them in total , and they had two big minders travelling with them .

    * surreal experience.

    Went to leedsfor work in the early 80's (that * thatcher made it necessary, walked into a social club in Wetherby and playing pool was George McCluskey whom I had seen score the winner in the riot cup final now playing for leeds. With my girlfriend I ended up babysitting for him and he arranged tickets for leeds and entrance to the players lounge after games. Down to earth man and family, good pool player and he sometimes took me boozing with Peter lorimer, I was 20 and thought I could drink but they 2 could shift a pint. George gave me a photo of Burns & him just relaxing after training, it's still one of my prized possessions

    Lennon, Gravesen, Naylor, Boruc, McManus, Zurawski, Naka all on the same day once. Was doing the stadium tour and timed it perfect with the players coming into the stadium for some reason.

    Actually Naylor was sitting in the front desk area bit watching the telly and the whole tour group walked past him without batting an eyelid. I was fhe only one who recognised the *. :56:

    Also met Burchill and Stokes, both lived in my town(Burchill born here and went to my school). Met Stokesy buying a pack of fondant bananas out my local corner shop:56:

    Grew up with Liam Henderson as well, in the year below me and my parents know his so saw him regularly when we were younger.

    Met Neil Lennon at Halloween there. Was walking through the park with my missus, the wee man, and and in laws.
    He was with a woman, and walking a dog. Nearly never noticed him, it was my Hun missus that spotted him.

    'Ohhh. I love you' was the exact words I believe. Kept it cool :giggle1:.
    Asked for a photo, and he was spot on tbf. He could see my man love shining through :56:

    Niall McGinn once scored six goals against me when the GAA team I did nets for played the Tyrone Vocationals in a friendly.

    Question for the posters who've met several players: who was the soundest and who was the least soundest?
