Let's be honest these days it is hipsterish to prefer pes, fifa is way ahead in every department at the moment. I haven't actually played the current one but the last 3 were awful I thought so wouldn't have entertained the thought of getting pes18 at all

Really makes you wonder if this writer has ever been to Glasgow though lol... seems to assume there are club shops on every corner.

 

Apparently to buy this new PES you need to show evidence that you've had * at least once.

For that reason its not expected to have any effect on sales of Fifa.

I'm happy to be the hipster * that switches to pes. FIFA has been the same * game for the last 3 years now, just milking the ultimate team gravy train.

So you haven’t actually played the latest version of the game?

I’m not entirely sure how you can base an argument saying FIFA is ahead in every department when you haven’t even played the game you are comparing it against.

Because the last 3 were * has no bearing what so ever on the current version.

FIFA is a complete * show at the moment, granted they still do some things better but the margin between the two is very close now.

Pes has got better since it dropped off albeit it has taken a while.

FIFA has been slacking for a couple of years now.

Also any money that doesn’t go in EAs pockets is a bonus.

 

Same, regarding not funding EA and their microtransaction pish.

Ultimate team was great when it was first out as a dlc, then included the following year. Then they added microtransaction and gradually from there the game has adopted that mode more and more. Neglecting almost every other aspect in favour of making users gravitate towards fut and inevitable spending more in game.

PES have pulled it out the bag here. Thousands of mugs like myself who haven't bought it in years will buy it just for the stadium.

 

Club Football by Codemasters in 04 and 05 had a Celtic edition and Parkhead was in it.

Horrific gameplay though.

 

Actually loved it, remember thinking the graphics were unreal for their time.

 

I played PES a few times about 10 years ago, and thought it was pretty good (based on not much play time), but I became a FIFA player, although I haven’t played much in the past three years (ultimate team annoyed me after a while, I preferred career mode) but with the inclusion of Celtic Park I’m willing to give the new PES a go.

 

Unreal graphics

 

PES will now feature the world famous BIG HOOSE, the stadium Bomber Brown played for. The icons of ibrox banners and the holding company shop also feature.

Advances in graphics engines have allowed us to recreate the crumbling materials and dignified brickword that Ibrox is famed for. Also new fan animations will add an extra level of realism as they can be seen heading to the exits at the 70 minute mark.

Aye, I got both the 04 and 05 version just because it had everything related to Celtic in it.

It used to have MON on the sidelines as well, would show him if you scored.

 

Thats Schalkes new stadium which they are just adding as well, hopefully as much detail goes into Celtic Park I want to zoom into my own seat
