Don't know if this is in the right section as it's not necessarily relating to the team but does anybody know when the best time to go on a tour of Celtic Park is ? I see the tickets are like a tenner and it everyday bar matchdays till like 3pm. Just wondering if there is a waiting list or if you can just go up and get a ticket. And also if anybody knows if/when players/management go there during the week and the chances of bumping into them ? :84:

I'd say best time would be morning mate, you can go and get a lunch in one of the bars or cafes at Parkhead afterwards.

As far as I know they do tours on matchday mornings as well, or some days anyway, so you can make a real day of it by taking in the tour then the game and of course this Sunday you can celebrate all day and night afterwards!

Chances of bumping into staff are slim i'm afraid as they all train and spend most of their days up at Lennoxtown. You might get an autograph from a chef or a groundsman but you're not gonna get shown around the toilets by Kayal :icon_mrgreen:

And I don't think there's a waiting list mate, just ring them up and book a ticket(s).

There's no waiting list. Ive been on the tour two times. I think both times were like at 10 am. Basically you go to Celtic Superstore and buy tickets. Then you'll wait out by the statues in front of Parkhead. The most I've ever seen on a tour is about 15 people. I've never really run into anyone there but tour guides. No major staff or anything. Going into the locker room is a cool experience though. I found one of Paddy McCourt's Championship betting slips on the floor last time I was in there. :56:Anyhow there are a lot of great photo opportunities, including with the big cup, and in the home dugout, etc. Enjoy your trip!

When I went I just paid in the club shop and then queued up outside. Then straight in.

Did the tour a couple of times - albeit in 2004 & 2006.

Think the chances of running into players, staff etc was much higher before Lennoxtown, but not sure how often it is likely to happen nowadays. Thought it was fantastic experience. In 2004 ran into Joos Valgaeren & Alan Thompson.

In 2006 our group even got to get our hands on the big eared cup.:62:

Done the tour a few times. Great fun. You can just show up and go to the Celtic superstore and they'll let you know when the next group depart. Think most times are here:
