So in 20% of our games we scored 4 or more! That’s unreal!

I remember him being truly awful and I genuinely consider him easily the worst manager we've had in my time watching Celtic... and I've seen Lou Macari, Tony Mowbray and Liam Brady.

The figures I would say are down to the insane players he had. At one point we were playing Lubo, Berkovic, Larsson and Viduka together. We could only dream of that nowadays.

He played the same formation every single time (4-2-2-2), he made Ronny Deila look like Jose Mourinho in terms of changing tactics to suit opposition.

For me, the whole thing was summed up by the night against Lyon at CP (I was actually there and watched the whole thing unfold from the top tier of the JS). We had such talented players up top, who would cause any team problems, and we just couldn't get them on the ball in the final 3rd. They were dropping deeper and deeper to get it. With no Larsson, no one was running in behind their defence to stretch them vertically.

He didn't have to coach potential into talent and he didn't have to spot talent (I'm sure even Lee Congerton already knew how good Berkovic was and the less said about Scheidt, the better), because he inherited very good players (Lubo, Viduka, Mjällby, McNamara, Lambert, Larsson...) from Venglos and Janssen and he had only one idea tactically (play like the classic Brazil sides).

I take his point about black managers not getting as much time in football, I think he's right about that; but in his particular case, he was just not very good at his job.
