Ehm...Hotel guys? Unless we're planning on finishing construction and opening it before February, we are definitely miles behind schedule and heard nothing.

Does any Celtic fan right now give a monkeys about ‘the hotel’. Hopefully it’s on the back burner until the present and next seasons are in the bag/trophy room.... Then will be the time for frills.

Unfortunately I can’t see anything other than a brief stink being created re. Res12... and then quickly wafted away by news if how wealthy DD and PL etc are getting on the success of the team on the pitch.

At least we won’t have questions about pies, pakora and when the next court case is!

I don't see the need to put further development on the back burner. There's no reason why building an hotel will distract from what's happening on the pitch: it's not as if the Bhoys will be labouring or carrying hods.

    Bankier -

The chairman makes clear that the board won’t prioritise European success over 10-in-a-row.

“European football defines modern Celtic. It’s in our DNA.

“The most important thing is the league title. The next two seasons are highly, highly important.”

    good to hear this !

    Just on res 12 now...

speaker getting torn into the board for trusting the issue to the SFA for over 6 years...

Lawwell insists it’s not celtics concern and shareholder interests are the priority ..

    digging their heels in..

They want a vote against snd a vote will take place at end of AGM

Recquisitioner representative makes address, makes pointed reference to Celtic's long and unbroken history as a kick off.

"Raises position that SFA failed to properly carry out its licencing duties in 2011, accuses SFA of ignoring SPFL and Celtic calls for independent enquiry.

"After a potted history of the developments (or not) of the last six years, we are brought up to the present day, with Ian Maxwell's comments about not letting the issue drag on forever cited.

"Calls the SFA a farcical administration, and asks the Celtic board if they are crazy by leaving the matter in the hands of the game's governing body. Says their support of the SFA is inexplicable, and asks if they will look to refer the matter to UEFA. Asks for them to make position on issue clear by March 2020, before season ticket renewals.

"Ian Bankier responds by saying resolution is voting on whether to refer matter to UEFA or the London Police. Says board has reviewed subject on regular basis, and has discussed shareholder concerns with UEFA and SFA. Asked for independent review from SFA in 2017, and they have since failed to do so.

"After taking advice from independent sources and weighing up shareholder concerns, Bankier says board has reached the view it would not be of interest to company to take steps laid out in resolution. Says it remains a matter for football authorities, as disappointing as their handling of the issue has been to date. Recommends club move on and shareholders vote against resolution.

"Bankier calls a poll on Resolution 12 after vote in the room, meaning proxy votes will also be counted. Result will be given after Q & A session."

Two go hand in hand if you have a squad capable of doing damage in Europe then you have a squad good enough to win the league
