Probably shouldn't have posted that question here, don't want to bog down what is a great thread by going off topic. Plus I didn't phrase it particularly well. Back to the stats.........

In Nov 98 both first & second choice keepers Jon Gould & Stewart Kerr were injured. Tony Warner was taken on loan from Liverpool as cover as Andrew McCondichie was the only gk available.
He only played 3 games, his second game & home debut was a famous 5-1 win over the huns. He played only one more game before Gould regained fitness & went back to Liverpool.

110 years ago in the 1906-07 season Oldco loaned a keeper to Celtic beacuse at Ibrox the Celtic keeper got injured when a nail in the goalpots went through his hand.
The loaned keeper was Tom Sinclair.
In those loaned matches he played 9 times for Celtic and kept a clean sheet in all but the last.
The last one was the Glasgow Cup final in which Celtic won.

This is very interesting, are him and McGeough the only ones to cross the divide directly?

    No.
Alex Bennett from Celtic (1903 to 1908) to Oldco (1908 to 1918)
Robert Campbell from Celtic (1905 to 1906) to Oldco (1906 to 1914)
    Another one is slightly different
Scott Duncan played for Oldco from 1913 to 1919 but whilst at Oldco he played 2 games as a guest player for Celtic so essentially he was on the books of Celtic and Oldco at the same time.

A couple of seasons ago i put up a thread asking everyone on here if they could name any club from the Scottish Premier, Championship, 1st and 2nd divisions as well The EPL, Championship and 1st and 2nd English divisions that DIDN'T have a Celtic player on their books at some time in that club's history.
It transpires that at the time that every single club in those divisions had at least one ex Celtic player on their books at some point in their history.
Not sure if that's still the case with some of the new English clubs.
    We get everywhere.:84:

Penalty shootouts don't count towards goal tallys, do they?

I seem to remember that one game was so boring that Celtic keeper Peter Latchford had time to chase and catch a dog that had ran onto the pitch.
I think it was the only save he had to make that game.

Just went through wiki for every league season and Celtic site and it's Stuart Armstrong that score Celtic's 9000th league goal against Ross County in December. That result also meant Celtic were unbeaten domestically in 2016.
Currently Celtic are on their 9030th League goal.

    Here are the millenial scorers

    1000th David Hamilton
    2000th Andy McAtee
    3000th Jimmy McGrory
    4000th Neil Mochan
    5000th Bertie Auld
    6000th Tom McAdam
    7000th Gerry Creaney
    8000th John Hartson
    9000th Stuart Armstrong

Probably something to do with the war years maybe? But its weird nonetheless
