    Mind one time at Easter Road it had kicked off, big battle in the middle of the road....team bus came along, everybody stopped, cheered and clapped the players then went back to fighting once it passed.:56:

    For the younger Celtic fans who are tired of hearing 'you dont know how lucky you are' from the bhoys who were around in the 90's. Heres how bad it got at the start of the 90's (league finish 1990):

    -Celtic finished in 5th position.
    -They were only 10 points away from being relegated.
    -We lost more games than we won (could you imagine that these days!)
    -Didnt even qualify for Europe (be grateful for small mercies)
    - Our top goal scorer managed 16 goals (Jackie Dziekanowski) In 1994 it was a magnificent 12 (Pat McGinlay)
    - Deadco rangers had 4 full England internationals (including their Captain) playing for them that got them to the Semi-finals of the World Cup.
    - Celtic would go another 8 years without a trophy except for a Scottish Cup win under Tommy Burns.
    - The stadium was poor, the players were poor and we had no money to fix it or compete with deadco rangers.
    -This probably wasnt even our most depressing season in the 90's. It was our lowest league finish but we at least made it to a cup final (beaten by Aberdeen). There were other season's in the 90's were we finished fourth and not even a sniff at winning anything.

    Enjoy every minute of these times. You dont know how lucky you are!! :60:
