One of the Legia players was quoted in the Slovenian press saying "Celtic are slow, play down the wings and know all Poland supports you".

With that being said, do you think Tonev and this Ghana international will solve the probelm that also comes with Forrest being such a liability? Do we have any potential qualities that could get us goals by playing through the middle?

When you also view our performance against Dundee Utd, three goals came from set-pieces and one from an error - Does this not worry anyone else?

That bit's * rubbish for a start. I'd imagine the other non Illegia supporters are having aright old laugh at their inability to follow a simple * rule that 99.999999% of all other clubs adhere to impeccably.

Certainly looked that way for the Jegellonia (sp?) support at the weekend.

Not much people have time for big domestic clubs who make an absolute * of it.

But, yep, we are a bit slow and we do lack quality on the wings. Ronny has spoken about this all at length and is trying to change it, but it will take time. Hopefully, yes the two new boys will go some way to fixing this.

It's funny how you describe one goal against United as an error though. Was that Johansen robbing Paton? The Johansen that sprinted 30 yards to make the challenge? That was great play, and speedy too :50:

Beating United 6-1 definitely not a worry for me also :smiley-laughing002:

We played great football against Utd but not much came of our open play as you said. We'll see how it goes, however a 6-1 victory over an SPL team shouldn't convice our support that we can beat European level opponents.

Scoring from set-pieces is a legit strategy.

Without knowing them very well, I think we are capable of scoring against Maribor so I'd focus on our defensive frailties and assume we'll grab a goal. I'd play fast players and go for corners and free kicks and try to sneak the away goal from one of them. We just need to keep it tight and keep this tie alive for the return leg.

The only place we lack pace imo is upfront and with Commons.

Set plays and "errors". How else are games won? If all the defenders do their job, no one scores.

All of Poland supports them...does it *. I have a few polish 'acquantancies', one of them supports Legia Gdansk and he says that Legia are probably the most hated club in Poland. I also seen a tweet saying that when Legia played last week the team they were facing played the champions league music to take the *, don't know if thats true but if so it's * hilarious.:56:

Put it this way, if it was the other way about and we had been * out after winning 6-1 do you think every non-Celtic fan would be on our side?:56:

This whole thing has gone too far though, so childish from both their players and hierarchy. We have done nothing wrong, it's UEFA they need to be complaining to....oh wait..they did.

Aye Jagiellonia Bialystok fans played the CL anthem :smiley-laughing002:. Stadium was empty when they did it though, just players out training and only a handful in the ground, unfortunately.

Yes I'm very worried, in fact I really wish we hadn't scored those 3 goals from set plays and Scarlett's goal so that I could sleep in peace.
