    OK.

So you aren't aware of the troubles behind the scenes at Hull. The tennis ball protests and ownership of the club ? Shame they didn't employ a manager that managed in Sweden then you probably would have.

You were trying to say a guy in a job for 18 months already, was still to be excused for not getting into Europe at all.

That’s in no way comparable to coming into a new job, in a league you have never worked in, and losing your 10-15 best players.

I am, actually. And did I say Adkins hasn’t done a good job? No, he has.

Potter has been more impressive though.

No-one needs excuses when they don't even have a crib for a bed.

Dean Smith at Aston Villa, they’ve been a shitshow for years, took charge in 2018 and has steadied them and has them up in the playoffs.

No I was also taking into account he was new to managements. Although I get you think that experience as a manager is unnecessary

It's realistic, more so than most mentioned.

Look, today was an important day for Lenny and it was an excellent performance and if he continues to get that level of performance, then it would take a bigger name than Potter to pip him to the job..

However, we should absolutely explore every opportunity in the meantime.

Lenny is a downgrade on Rodgers, 100% so we need to search for a manager that can help fill that void. It may be Lenny and it may not, but we should try our hardest to get the best man in.

Lenny was a bag of nerves today and looked visibly shattered even before a ball was kicked, he cares so much this is his strength and his weakness.

I nearly put him in my list mate, however thought folk might go on about Villa's resources so left him out. The job he did at Brentford though was far more impressive than anything Potter has done.

I absolutely disagree with that last part. He looked calm, our team looked calm, we came out of the blocks early and * slaughtered them. Don’t think Lenny looked ‘shattered’ or a ‘bag of nerves’ in the slightest. He knew exactly what was needing done.

If our board are thinking 2nd division managers that have never experienced the pressure of managing a club like us is good enough and realistic to lead us, especially just now, then they’re more incompetent than I thought.

Villa. I’m not a massive follower of English football anymore, it just gets hollower and hollower as the years go by

Couldn't even look at our pen, thought he defo looked stressed before the game, could be just getting old right enough. :56:

Lenny is never calm ffs mate, it's not in his nature.. like I say his passion is both his biggest strength and weakness. You need clarity and composure at times to make effective decisions. Unless you're an amazing coach in other aspects of the game.

I'm in two minds if that's what we need.

Not clued up on their finances, however they are on a * of run at the minute. Grealish is a huge player for them. On his day he is the best player in that league by some distance for me ( and I'm no his greatest fan). They will take some momentum into the playoffs. The Championship and League 1 in England this year have being really entertaining tbf.

What do you think he done before the game to indicate he wasn’t he calm? I genuinely can’t see that at all.

Thought all his decisions today were effective as well.
