We should absolutely be a team that builds from the back.. as long as we can change it when it suits.. fresh/new ideas is the main thing. Lenny doesn't give you that, at least I've seen no evidence of it since he's come back in.

 

It's about quality of player at your disposal too mate, if your going to compare Championship records we need to look at Lenny's record at Bolton too.

You are talking about a guy with a team that was playing in the epl last year. He is just a fad name because he managed overseas. He has done considerably worse with his resources than Chris Wilder, Lee Johnson,Nigel Adgkins,Alex Neil etc ....

 

Let's stick with Lennon , the "safe" bet for 10IAR. He's never lost SPL titles before .
He's also the best motivator around apparantly, thats why his team were always so focused and up for it in big Hampden games.

If we hire anyone else, they'll just end up another Ronny dont you know.

If and it's a big if, we're looking at that type of coach, a coach with a bit of innovation, I'm happy with that.. not saying he's the right man, but I wouldn't be against the idea.

For me Lenny can still make the job his, starting today.

You do realise they are a mess behind the scenes and sold their best players in the summer? Ki, Mawson, Clucas, Fernandez, Bartley, Mesa, Fabianksi, Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Carroll and Montero.

They essentially got rid of an entire team because they needed the money. He’s had to promote academy players, and he’s still adored by the fans. He’s clearly doing something right.

Edit: If they win their game in hand they go up to 10th. Which isn’t bad at all, considering the circumstances.

 

I think Lenny is stuck between not wanting to tinker too much towards the end of a season where we are front runners anyway and doing what he wants to do with the team. So we are left with worst of both worlds.

I'd honestly be happy with Lenny, Rafa, AVB and Rose... Martinez could be a hit or a miss.... Clarkes head would explode the first time someone called him a tattie muncher.... McInnes? hmmmm..... Moyes?? Oh * no

Took a diddy Swedish team from obscurity to beating Arsenal at the Emirates in the Europa League.

Not sure I’d go for him this summer, but he’s definitely one to watch.
