like Calum McGregor his first touch forward drive, hold up play and then making space for a pass forward is just incredible.

Armstrong was not capable of what Christie done tonight, that’s for sure.

1 million per cent an upgrade on Armstrong based on the last fortnight.

Has all the good things Stu did but with better ability on the ball.

Brilliant tonight and really unlucky not to score.

Got a chance through injuries and grabbed it with both hands. He's been excellent since he came into the side.

    He’s definitely broke through..
Deserves his place in the first team now and shows just how good that piece of business selling Armstrong was!

    Absolute joke eh.

This website used to be good but there's too many people coming on this forum that are giving their own, honest, personal opinions.

It's about time the Mods clamped down on this.

Brilliant. Funny how circumstance allows you the chance to show what you're capable of.

    Who is Stuart Armstrong?

I've liked Christie since his Caley Thistle days. I'm delighted he's stepping up to the plate. Outstanding performances of late.

The fact that Christie is doing it this early on in Europe is scary and that work rate that he shows game in game out would never be seen with Armstrong , future looks bright!

I was never a fan of him just pointing out he did do it for us in Europe at least on that occasion.

And perhaps the last. Armstrong was a good player but let's be honest. One season aside, Armstrong was rarely a standout, particularly in Europe.

Christie has surprised me this month. The last player I thought that was a write off and went to prove me wrong was petrov. I know petrov pretty much stayed in the first team start to finish but I had him down as one for the bin, much like christie. He has taken his opportunity and has proven himself on a European level tonight. Exciting times

Armstrong did have a really good European debut for us v Inter.

Christie was excellent tonight though. Was also our only decent player over there in Germany.

Both born in Inverness, both got some amount of running power, must be that Highland fresh air.
