Hope he’s back sharpish and playing centre mid.

For me, our most important player and there are now several examples of why that’s at the very least a strong argument if not a fact.

Agreed. My worry is Lenny wil stick with Bitton as I think he's one of his faves.

Missing him badly. Going from him and Christie/Rogic in there, to what we have now is killing us creatively.

The game at that midden showed it mate, even with the rat playing him at LB he was our biggest threat on the day. The bhoy is class no matter where he plays.

Can’t wait to see him back, yesterday missed him so much, we lacked any real movement or creativity. Was just waiting for sheep to nick it at the end.

Funny how things pan out. Who would have predicted he would be the first name on the team sheet along with Tiernry a couple of years ago.

we have some excellent players who can see the whole pitch and Broony is still my favourite but Callum McGregor is pretty much World Class to me. I know others might laugh but he can do things, bits of skill, runs in behind, 30 yard Messi like passes into the corner, but most importantly he inspires other players. I haven't checked out the loanees with him yet but see the Academy lads, KT absolutely loves playing on the same side as him cause he knows he can play skillful football and it won't be a waste. Jamesy is the exact same, running towards the box if he sees Callum more times than not he'll give him the one two cause he knows Callum doesn't just hit it back in a basic one two fashion, he'll wait to see the run first and then try and get it in the small space he's headed that the defenders don't see cause they don't have that world class vision.

I wouldn't sell him for £30m. Not only is he an incredible game changers but he's pure Celtic and if we're serious about 10, we have to be serious about our players who can change the speed of the game in an instant.

How badly did we need that to happen today.

@ynwa1987 On form, Broony will always be the first name on the team sheet.

No matter how good our other player are, none of them would've put in the performance Broony did today, I was stunned nothing came of it.

Aye and Big Sammy will be back in the summer

If Bitton ever plays for us again I'm going to have to reassess Lenny. Although in all seriousness I will forgive Lenny misgiving if he wins us 10iar.

I used to love Bitton, when he was a player he could slide that ball about with slick precision.

He nearly pulled one off throught to Jamesy I think? Maybe Burke but it was a reminder of his glory days.

I'm not playing someone who can make one pass in 90 minutes, no even Messi on that form would get a game for us.

Based on the fact he’s played since NL has came in. Albeit, we’ve had zero midfielders fit, so I’m hopin bitton is obviously a means to an end. We all know he slows the game down, and slow play has been too evident this year so why play him? Coz he’s the only choice!? Utter tosh.

NL could have put 2 up front and 4 in the middle (Forrest brown hendo and sinc). No need for slow bitton.
Had been mentioned previously why do we need 2 sitting mids??

Christ, Ajer is more dynamic at driving forward with the ball, so NL could even have put him in midfield as he once was one. So I’m not necessarily buying the “he had to play him as we had no choice” pish.

I’m under no illusion that when cal Mac returns he will slot straight back in, but if rogic, Christie and cal are all fit at the same time, is NL goin to play just one of them and keep 2 sitting midfielders? ie keeping bitton and brown and then one of the 3 above to play the 10 role.

Felt NL had a chance to mix it up slightly but went with a conservative approach. I can’t blame NL too much as he’s only been here a fortnight and had 3 tough games but he was working with them for a week before sheep game to try things.

    Just my view.

When all the mids are fit Bitton is bottom of the pecking order imo

    Brown
    McGregor
    Rogic
    Ntcham
    Christie
    Kouassi
    Mulumbu
    Bitton

    Is my order of midfielders

Your order is wrong, what’s Kouassi or Mulumbu done here to warrant being above him?
