Him and Ntcham are letting Hibs run the midfield instead of controlling it unfortunately

I've sang his praises all week but that was a diabolical performance.

    So much *.

Ronny might have been a dud but he clearly knew a young talent when he seen one.

Similar to how he took Tierney and put him in the first team when KT wasn’t even getting a game for the u20’s. Lennon would never have gave Tierney a chance ahead of Izaguirre either, just like he never gave Callum a chance.

Baffling you’re trying to avoid giving Ronny any praise but trying too make excuses for Lenny not giving him a chance.

Tierney got in by accident, people forget that Tyler Blackett was getting in before him, Efe Ambrose got put there before him. He got in when everycunt was i jured and properly seized his chance and didn’t let it go. It wasn’t Ronny seeing it in him and trusting him, it was Tierney. Ronny deserves a lot of praise in part of his development, but not in how he got into the team in the first place.

Lenny also handed Tierney his debut, he was breaking into the squad, then he broke his leg.

Thought he looked the only one comfortable in tight spaces. Compared to Brown who struggled today.

Ronny gave him his debut. To say Ronny doesn’t deserve praise for getting Tierney in the team is idiotic.

And you’re making my point, Ronny gave him his debut as a 17 year old then KT broke his leg. If Ronny didn’t rate him he wouldn’t have played him that young, and then put him back in after his injury.

I could flip it and say you're trying to give Ronny praise but completely denying anything positive from Lennon? Bizarre considering one is a legend and the other a dud.
My last post on this cos it's a pointless argument but you're comparing apples and oranges.

Lennon not giving a teenage rookie McGregor a chance when we had our best midfield in a decade is simply not comparable to Ronny giving a 22 year old Mcgregor a shot when we had a * midfield.
Would Lennon have gave a chance to Callum were he ready? Of course he would seeing as he had great faith in the youths, giving debuts to Henderson, Forrest, Watt, Tierney, Twardzik and * knows how many others.

Anyway not a great game from Callum today, despite his tactical intelligence for me he's wasted out wide. You want his running power and passing range in the middle.

It was luck. We were crying out for it. He rated Efe Ambrose and Tyler Blackett there before him up until he had no other option and then he played him.

Really? I could have sworn it was Lenny the season before, sure it was against Hearts? When he was 17, then a Hun broke his leg? Or am I gettin my seasons mixed up?

WIKI: Tierney made his competitive senior debut for Celtic on 22 April 2015 under manager Ronny Deila, coming on as an 81st-minute substitute in a Scottish Premiership match against Dundee

Because we’re talking about McGregor and Lennon clearly didn’t rate him considering he played Henderson and Twardzik ahead of him.

He did have other options though. Calum Waters and Aidan McIlduf were both more rated than KT in the u20’s and playing ahead of him.

Again, Ronny gave him his debut the season before, before we even got Blackett on loan, KT then broke his leg. It wasn’t luck that he saw talent in him.

Ronny was a dud as a manager but he can clearly spot young talent.

Ronny deserves a lot of credit when it comes to KT but it was an infuriating amount of time watching Ambrose/Blackett there before he handed him his chance. It was always one of my biggest bugbears with Ronny, he had a reputation of trusting in youth, more often than not he sidn’t opt to do it.
