Think so? I’ve always thought he shined in big games. From scoring in Europe in one of his very first appearances, scoring against Ajax under Ronny, he’s always had the right attitude for the big occasion.

I can only think of Munchengladbach when he’s actually let us down on the big stage.

The tail end of last season and this season I think he's really stepped it up in big games. Before that I felt that some games passed him by especially in Europe when our backs are against the wall, cant remember games off the top of my head but I'm glad BR has given him that confidence to show his qualities.

IIRC he also scored as a young boy against Legia in one of the most intimidating atmospheres in Europe on a night when the arses of many of our older and more experienced players collapsed.

Edit: that's probably what you were referring to above. :52:

He got all of our 3 away goals in the CL qualifiers in that euro campaign

Is 6 European goals right for him? 3 that year, Ajax under Ronny, Bayern and Zenit?

It’s weird. The bigger the game the more he stands out. Any European game or big game domestically you know he’s going to be a standout.

Think it could just be his style. He’s so good technically and so composed it seems like the more pressure we’re under the more he thrives. Even the few games during our unbeaten run when we were losing it was him that stepped up.

Brendan mentioned it a few weeks ago, but he’s definitely one of the leaders in ours team now.

    Absolutely love the boy.

Yes. He played a nice 1 2 with roberts against red imps for his only assist that i can remember.

Would start him every game in Europe next season, assuming he's on form and fit.

Always liked McGregor but I'm constantly growing more fond of him. He gives 110% each game and loves every minute here. Playing great lately too

CM: “The boys want to get it done as quickly as possible and we have a big chance to do it on Saturday. We’ve prepared well this week so hopefully we can finish the job and get the title done."

CM: “We’re excited and raring to go. Off the back of a good result at the weekend, the confidence is high and we want to go and finish it off as quickly as possible."

CM: “When you look at it like that, in terms of that achievement, then it’s obviously very exciting for the players and something we will try our best to do."

CM: “We know we got our success last year by just taking each game as it came and really focusing on the next one, trying to get the wins, and we’ll trying to do the same again."

CM: “It’s always the sign of good teams if you can go and repeat your success. To try and keep the level as good as what it was last year is probably a better achievement in that sense."

CM: "For us, the strength of the group is keeping focused and continuing to win games, and we’ll be looking to do that over the last five or six games. If we could do it then it would be a great achievement but everyone is focused on the next game."

CM: "They (@HibsOfficial) have been a great opponent for us. They have pace in the team, they can score goals and can defend as well. The games we’ve had against them have been tough."

CM: "It would have been tough to pick a harder opponent, but everyone is looking forward to the challenge, and we’re only one win away from the title so that should spur us on.”

CM: "In terms of performance level and my goal return and assists, I would say this is the best form I’ve had at Celtic."

CM: "Just a combination of everything – hard work, and the manager has been great in giving me that confidence to play, and when you influence big games then it gives you that confidence you can go and perform on a big stage."

CM: "He (the manager) is always speaking to me in terms of how big a role he thinks I can play in the team and giving me confidence to go and affect games and try and win games for Celtic."

CM: "When you see that coming, with big goals and big performances, then you start to really understand that you can become a big player as well.”
