    The lead up to the 2nd pen sums him up.

    80th minute working like a dog pressing, wins the ball. Lays it back to Roberts, moves forward, gets the return and then in a tight space, gets the head up, and finds Roberts through a crowd of 5 huns. Brilliant!

    I think McGregor can suffer from a lack of form at times but he's proven on many occasions now he is a quality player. Rodgers obviously rates him very highly and trusts him to put in a good performance in the big games. He has become one of our most important players.

    Loved the wee man ever since Ronny gave him his chance.

    Criminally underrated by every * including our own fans at times. Brendan trusts him in every big game and he rarely lets the gaffer down.

    He’ll go down as a Celtic great imo.

    To be honest people who under rate McGregor must be a bit thick, hes proved time and time again he is a very good player.

    chucked a couple quid on him to score anytime, always puts in a shift against that mob.

    I know it's been said about 900 times in this threads, but if he wasn't scottish he'd get a lot more praise, his style really isn't typical of what we normally produce, much more continental.

    I think the problem with Callum in the past was his demeanour (if that's the correct word)
    He just has that very quiet background look about him and this is misleading.

    He's always had a good eye for goal and his possession on the ball is really composed.

    Certainly under Ronny there were glimpses of what he could do but it's Brendan and his staff that's really brought out the best in him and I think he's gonna get better as his confidence grows even more.

    Only player in our squad that’s scored in all 5 competitions we’ve been in.

    A small snippet of a stat which outlines the point about his big game mentality and his ability to raise his game through the levels because of his base technical ability.
