    Good to see the well deserved praise he has reveived after today's performance. Will be interesting to see all the McGregor haters come back again when he has a poor performance.

    Played very well today, impressed by his all around game and took goal superbly!

    Saying all that I personally still don't think hes good enough if we want to be progressing as a team.

    Far from his biggest fan and questioned his selection today. However, he was excellent, was everywhere for us and lovely calm finish, Brendan likes him so hopefully he can produce more consistently

    If Rogic scored that goal and played that well we'd be saying how class a player he is and how we should plan to stop Barca from buying him. If Mcgregor could play like that every week he'd be a regular starter.

    He's slotted in everywhere for Rodgers. Easy to see why he appreciates him.

    There's always got to be some hypothetical position for every squad player for Celtic fans. SAF didn't have to hypothetically place Brown or O'Shea or Saha or Ji-Sung.

    McGregor is a good player, we're lucky to have someone like him in the squad whether or not he will set any heather alight or not. You know you can play him and you know what you're going to get, he won't hold anything or anyone back from progressing.

    I've never been his biggest fan, probably quite critical of him in the past tbh, but he had showed flashes under Ronny and this season he's shown enough to put himself above bitton in the pecking order without a doubt, I don't have any worries with him slotting into the team now.

    Unless he steps up a bit more I don't really see him starting over brown/armstrong/rogic as our middle 3, but we do rotate a lot and with injuries he should still get a decent amount of game time and does offer a different style of play than our other midfielders so there will be games he's more suited to than others.

    I was quite happy to see him starting and got the reason behind it but the reason being he only started because rogic isn't 100 percent but none the less was quite happy that he would do the job
