Daryl Murphy scored again. Within 2 mins v Newcastle.
Why do a lot of these prem teams not take this seriously? There gonna win absolute * all else but they insist on playing a weakened team thinking there a big club. Fannys.
Harry Wilson‘s goal for Derby against Man United
Burton 1 up at Boro.
What is the point in those daft stop start run ups
* atrocious penalties from leicester
Totally agree. I have thought the same myself a bunch of times. Some of these teams even do the same for the FA Cup as well and get knocked out nice and early as a result sometimes.
Semi Final draw
Citeh v Burton
Spuds v BNP Chelsea.
City v Burton over two legs could be a massacre..
Pep should be able to keep it respectable for City, but Boycey will have a field day.
I hope Burton are a second leg team.
No * around there, could be 10.
Sometimes wish we would do this instead of the usual *.
Although do feel a bit sorry for Burton, surely Pep can say calm down.
If Foden wasn't sat on that bench tonight thinking to himself, how the * do I get a game? Then the lad has zero ambition...
What a mad lineup to put out for Burton. Bar Foden, the other 2 subs were full internationals as well.
He's 18 years old playing at his boy hood club under arguably the best manager in the world, explain how that lacks ambition because he starts on the bench? He's clearly a talent but has time to get into the squad yet, a loan move would probs help but I don't think him being at Man City on the bench for a league cup semi shows him having a lack of ambition
At 8 nil they still had a chance. :brendy:
18 years of age doesn't really mean anything in some cases. If you watch him, you can tell he's well ahead of others at his age. Some players just develop earlier than others do. He's certainly fortunate to find himself amongst such quality, but he certainly would be a starter if he was at nearly every other club in the league rather than spending his time consistently on the bench, especially against the likes of Burton Albion, who are about as far down the chain as City are ever to face again any time soon.
* still just making it up as they go along.
EPL fans haven’t seen a goal all day.
Super Sunday indeed..
