You can't lose players like dembele ,roberts ,Armstrong ,sviatchenko and expect it not to make a massive difference.losing 4 of your better players would damage any team
whoever is in charge of the transfers totally * over rodgers instead of improving the team it is a lot worse

I’m referring to the continuous and rapid decline in standards on and off the park, and how some fans and our board don’t care so long as we are above them.

The board only want us to be slightly above Rangers and you are completely deluded if you think some of our fans don’t compare us to them on a regular basis.

Some people thought by beating them last week everything was rosy again, when in truth it papers over the cracks.

A 1-0 victory at home against a mid table SPL side doesn’t hide the fact we have been utter garbage for almost a full calendar year, with the exception of one or two games.

We needed fresh faces in the transfer window to give the squad a much needed boost and fresh impetus, but predictably our board sit on their hands and don’t take advantage of the best opportunity we have had in my living memory.

Some of our fans are happy to go along with the board like puppets. I even heard one guy say the other week how he is happy with our transfer business as he knows we won’t go bust like them. That’s the * you’re up against and the reason Lawwell and his Tory mates get away with it.

A massive part of our problems is the blatantly obvious lack of ambition from the board and the pathetic acceptance of it from some of our supporters, which was my original point.

Therefore you’re either smoking crack, or you’ve misunderstood my point, as the two posts you’ve directed at me don’t address any of the points I raised.

 

100% this, the first season after Delia had ruined the morale, any decent manager would have lifted us, last season definitely going backward, this season apart from the hun game, we are woeful. Please dont blame the board, our budget is massive, easily enough to smash this league. If brendan does ever go to the epl, then I want a manager to bring the thunderback, any suggestions? The guy at Hibs looks a good fit.
