    Properly embarrassing from us tonight.

All the talk again about the stadium, atmosphere etc. It's all * tbh. It's years since teams properly feared coming to Celtic park and we need to start realising that.

Fans can only do so much and how can you defend that sort of performance. Didn't look interested. Didn't have a go at all. So so poor.

I at the very least expected us to put them under pressure. So tame.

His results in Europe leave a lot to be desired. Getting left further and further behind.

Looked both in shock and furious at the same time as the camera focused on him walking onto the pitch.

Setting us up in Europe as if we have amazing quality of players, never changes his tactics regardless of opponent.

His insistence on passing from the back in Europe is costing us big time... Too one dimensional to adapt?

Can we please put the bed this myth that we somehow get pumpings in Europe because we play all out attacking high pressing football? Passing the ball between centre backs and the keeper isn’t attacking or positive.

He’s * clueless in Europe. But aye, if the club matched his ambition in Europe we’d be qualifying for the CL knockouts...

The happy clappers will still blame everyone else but him. We’ll be told he needs backed etc.

He’s made us a team of absolute shitebags in Europe who crumble at the first sign of adversity.

Not until we were 2 down and the game lost did we change our shape. We are just too predictable

That performance tonight was woeful. We didn't have a shot on target in the 2nd half. I don't care what team we put on the park we should be doing much better than we have. Valencia had about 6 first teamers either rested or injured and we cannot have a go at them. We need to be more direct as Sutton and others have highlighted as well. Fanning about at the back is OK when ur playing Hamilton at home.

I appreciate what he’s trying to do but that approach just makes him look so naive.

It’s all well and good trying to play the right way but the way we invite technically superior teams on to us is absolute stupidity.

If you get control of the game then fair enough but what about sticking the ball in the corner and making the centre halves run towards their own goal? No * likes that regardless of how good you are.

There are plenty of managers out there who if they were in charge of Celtic and had Rodgers European record, they would be coming under serious scrutiny for the record and performances we have seen in the last three years. It's not good enough. Tonight was * pathetic.

Not changing Izaguirre was a shambolic choice by him. Clear as day they were targeting him (didn't even need to, he kept passing the ball away), bringing off sinclair, the only guy who did anything, was another bewildering decision. He's still young for a manager but i don't think he'll ever adapt his style in europe, which in the long term means more defeats for us.

    Sad reality.

Fans are being led down time abdntime again. No consistency in the performances against this level of opponent and there never will be.

Managers must love getting us in the groups and draws....they know how we will play every single time.....so easy to make us make mistake after mistake.........might as well use the under 16s in spain and give some of our world beaters a rest.

Absolutely embarrassing tonight. Be man enough to admit that you completely * up with your selection and tactics.

Maybe he needs to get a bit more * off and angry to fire up his pkayers. No shot in the second half is absolute * criminal.

Another gutless performance in Europe. We were great against Leipzig, but the in the other 3 matches against the Red Bull teams we were * hopeless.

Scunnered seeing us getting the * taken out of us in Europe. Like Valhalla said, it's not as if we're playing this fast, attacking football and getting done on the counter. We offered absolutely nothing tonight. Nothing in attack and weak as * defensively. What's the point?

For a guy that can, at times, look like a top class manager, that was * embarrassing tonight. Not for the first time in Europe either.

    That's it in a sentence.
I don't think Valencia were amazing tonight but they had clearly done their homework. Press the goalkeeper and the back four and mistakes will come, sit deep without the ball and counter. There is no 'plan b'.
Sideways passing for the sake of it is ridiculous. Sixty thousand up for it from the start and we start knocking it back to Bain and expect miracles. There is nothing wrong with balls in the channels, turning defenders and using the crowd to our advantage.

He got so much wrong tonight that it is incredible.Whatever about the humpy *, or Brendan's decision to keep him when there was (allegedly) £9 million on the table, I still can't believe that is true, but that aside; Ajer is better than Jozo. That simple.

I felt a bit sorry for Burke tonight. This wasn't a game to be playing a young lad out of position. Edouard should have started, if he wasn't fit enough to start then he has been mismanaged over the past few weeks.
Sinclair should never have been taken off. Sinclair and Forrest looked decent, but there was no focal point.

I don't expect Celtic to be winning the Europa League, I expected us to go out over the two legs, but I do expect that we give every team that turns up at Celtic Park a game. Every team. Nobody should stroll to a victory like that.
