He's a * for leaving when he did but if you take a step back can you blame him?

Clearly there is next to no ambition with board. Imagine being a Celtic manager trying to buy players and we are haggling over the likes of £100k!

    All very true.

I do think The Snake wanted to leave long before he did and was obviously waiting on the right opportunity.

Also I think Lenny knew he was gonna replace him ...Hibs knew that too and that's why they parted when they did.

    The snake really * it.

I understand what you're saying. He was noticeable angry at the start of last season when Lawwell failed to get any of his primary targets in. I don't blame Rodgers for that, nor do I blame him for getting fed up of working in those conditions, particularly when he'd every right to expect more. But if he'd just waited until the end of the season...

Not only did he leave us in the *, which was a * thing to do, he's also allowed Lawwell off the hook in the process. So * all round really.

I have no feelings for him either way but I don't think he's a big a loss as it appears.

Obviously he's a brilliant manager, one of the best in the world when it comes to attacking football but didn't he sign Gamboa, Hendry and Toljan?

We are not Barca, we can't win games in Europe without a solid defence. Actually neither can Barca the last two seasons they have been massively humped because of poor defending.

Yes - don't tell Celtic fans you're one of them and then bail halfway through an attempt at genuine Celtic history. Don't use the name of legends to try and integrate yourself into that sort of level of Celtic hero when you were never good enough to play for Celtic and ultimately weren't sincere enough to even be remembered fondly for your actions.

    He is a lowlife weasel.

Rodgers “Me & Led Zeppelin, or the Led Zeppys as I like to call them, go way back. They let me hear a song they were writing, they called it Stairway to Devon. Now I’d been reading a lot of The Bible around then & suggested Stairway to Heaven. The rest as they say, is history.”

Take the analyst if he wants there’s plenty good ones out there. As long as we keep Jack Nayler the sports scientist that the rat brought in.

MIKAEL LUSTIG has revealed he told Brendan Rodgers he didn’t approve of his controversial decision to quit Celtic for Leicester.

Rodgers stunned Scottish football and angered the Parkhead faithful by walking away from the Hoops as they pursued a historic treble Treble.

But Celts legend Lustig was unhappy with his former gaffer’s decision.

Speaking to Sport/Foot Magazine in Belgium, he said: “In terms of managers, Neil Lennon persuaded me to move to Celtic so he is the most important coach for me.

Tactically, the best was Brendan Rodgers…a true perfectionist.

“I only regret that he left the way he did. When you say you are a fan of Celtic you do not quit the club in February.

“I do not approve of his choice and he knows it.”
