I think if Rodgers could respond to this thread he'd say, 'take a chance on me.'

I sure hope he's a willing learner, like Lennon was. We're OK up front, but I'd like to see him be pragmatic in Europe. What is good on the eye won't necessarily bring results in.

I find Rogic has a better touch and does better things with the ball when he's under pressure and has less time to think. If he receives the ball in a crowded space it just seems to stick and he works a way out, but I find when he's on the edge of the box and you think he's gonna trap it and ping it, his touch lets him down. It's not every time but enough that I"ve noticed it happening.

Rogic's a handy player but he's far from indispensable. Ryan Christie could do just as well for us in the attacking midfield role if he was given a run of games. It's beginning to annoy me a bit that Christie isn't getting a chance while players like Armstrong and McGregor, who are never going to make it, are on the bench each week.

Our main weakness is in midfield, Brown is brilliant but he can't cover the whole midfield himself. Rogic doesn't have enough pace or fitness so the 2 sitting mids need to help him out but if Bitton isn't up for it like the Gladbach game we totally lose the midfield.

So looking at the game on Wednesday, what would you have done differently?

The right substitutions were made at the right times, two mistakes cost us the game or it would have been a decent 0-0 from a poor performance.

Again - unrealistic expectations. Celtic are competing with teams who have 10 times their budget. Getting a draw against Man City, they have already over achieved.

We are * poor because we don't have enough quality in the side. This it for me! We have to invest in the side and get more quality in.

We all seen it in the qualifying rounds and it's not changed. I think some fans got their hopes up with the City result.

We will win the league with this side bit do nothing in Europe after qualifying. I'm happy we have got the money and will be happy each year if we qualify for the groups bit we must reinvest the money into the side.

Basically this from me too. THIS is the reason we will make no impact in Europe. We simply canna compete financially. No matter what tactics you have.

Rogic is twice the player Christie is.

With careful investment, we could punch above our weight and qualify from the group stages.

I agree. Luck will be needed, but certainly not a case of blaming BR's 'can't cut it in Europe tripe'.

A lucky draw would be nice and not to draw Barca would be fantastic haha.

As long as we reinvest the money we make and learn from our past mistakes then we could get out of the groups of finish third and have a wee ran after Christmas in the Europa League.

I'd love to not get Barcelona for a few years at least, as much as I like them.

I'd love to get Chelsea one year.

Its the luck of the draw and we got drawn the hardest group.
If we got drawn in leicesters group I think we would of had a realistic chance of finishing 2nd or 3rd.

I'd love to knock Chelsea out, horrible club. Fans taunt the away end with 50 pound notes when you go there and say to you 'oi, scouse, never seen one of these have ya?'
