Aye, against Wotherspoon in Tony Mowbray’s season.

Best save of Boruc’s I seen was to save an OG from Paul Telfer at Old Trafford.

Forster’s was one against Neymar when Fabregas scored against us at Celtic Park. Was theough one on one and had no right to get down as quickly as he did.

I keep changing my mind on ones though :56:

Gordon pulled off an absolute screamer last season and I can’t mind who it was against. Was unreal though.

Ah I remember another save against Barca where Forster got down so well to save the initial shot, but Messi tapper in the rebound. Tony Watt game.

This is the best I’ve seen from Gordon:

I’m sure it was the 2-2 game? Could be wrong, I’m the same as you where I can’t remember anything from recent years :giggle1:

I have noticed that Gordon rarely makes a bog standard save you expect most decent goalies to make. I don't know if he positions himself so he has to stretch himself to make the save look better or he he is just good at looking acrobatic. If I'm right then he gives away unnecessary corners to make himself look good.

Had no right to get to it, was running in the opposite direction the got down to the opposite bottom corner.

Would have been some finish by Telfer right enough

Aye I'm sure he was half diving to the right side but then managed to change direction... freak save, very underrated as well that save

Each at their best i'd go Holy Goalie. His drop in form made it easy to forget just how good he was when he first came here.

Don't know about his best save but 2 I'll always remember is the penalty save v Saha in that old Trafford game and the final penalty save v Spartak. Magic

At their best - Forster edges it over Boruc for me because i felt he was just slightly more reliable and less likely to make a howler.

See at their best , I’d say Boruc, overall for being the most reliable I’d say Forster. Boruc in Euro 2008 for Poland was top 5 in the world I think.

Boggled ma mind back then but eben more so now, that many votes for Gordon man.

Better argument between him and Big Rab.

And watch the Road to Seville back if you think that’s harsh on Gordon, because Rab done some outrageous saves in his day, he was just quite *.

Forster and Boruc were the two keepers I’ve seen for us that were just different level.

Both were phenomenal in different ways which is why I love this argument, Forster broker cleansheet records with Izzy, Loovens/Rogne, Majstorovic and Cha Du Ri/Wilson infront of him. Went on to break his own record 2/3 times as well.

Boruc got us to the last 16 with Telfer, McManus, Balde/Varga and Mark Wilson at left back, then again the next year with Wilson, Caldwell/O’Dea, McManus, Naylor infront of him.

Good keepers can paper over a * load of cracks man.
