Reading River Monsters just now for something to do since I love the show. Bit of a palette cleanser after The Green Mile which was a bit intense. Also, some John Steinbeck books for 99p on Kindle store today if anyone's interested. Never read any of his stuff but heard it's good, defo gonna grab one at that price.

Finished Michael Connelly's The Drop. A nice addition to his Harry Bosch crime drama series.

Just picked up a few books and looking forward to getting started on them

    The Road by Cormac Mccarthy
I Am Legend by Richard Matheson
    The Godfather by Mario Puzo
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
    One Way by SJ Morden

Should keep me going for the next month! Quite looking forward to One-way in particular - a murder mystery set on Mars.

Finished Declan Hughes The Price of Blood a crime novel set in the world of Irish horse racing. Pretty complicated plot line like his last novel which takes away from the book.

I bet that's one of the most interesting books written. Very few people can use war and after 26 years lost of personal freedom reading make it peace that conquers all. 7 billion people on the planet and there's only a few who stand out genius.

Reading Wilt by Tom Sharpe. First brought out in the 70s. Still has me in knots

Just finished I Am Legend. Was a quality book and probably deserves its plaudits as a classic.

Anyone read The Power Of The Dog by Don Winslow?

Heard great things about it. A bit like Sicario/Cartel DEA stuff.

Picked up that and the sequel, The Cartel.

Finished Declan Hughes All The Dead Voices. Easily his best work to date. Fun crime drama with plenty of action and some twists and turns. The book actually opens at a Shelbourne football match in Tolka Park.

Finished the book I was reading and next I either want to read something about The Mafia/prohibition era (open to recommendations) or Gordon Ramsay's autobiography cause have been watching a lot of Kitchen Nightmares with the mrs, but would feel a bit wrong cause he played for/is a hun.
