Yeah, it read really well as a neo-noir detective mystery. Thinking of going for Mystic River next.

Finished The Colour of Blood by Declan Hughes. Decent PI detective type novel. The plot though was ultra complicated which made it hard to keep track of at times.

I've been put right off them. Was reading online that the tone of the books completes changes and becomes just another crime book. The guy that wrote then is Zlatans biographer.

As As side note, there's rumours that Larson didnt actually write the Millennium Trilogy , they were ghost written with the plan for a 10 book series.

From what I’ve read about the latest one, it’s doesnt even concentrate on Salander and Blomkvist.

Seems he’s bastardised the series and tried to hijack it for his own characters.

Larson’s girlfriend has said there’s a load of books still unpublished that he left baboons aswell I’m sure.

read the 'snowman' by nesbo and nearly gave up on it near the end as i was sick of how many twists the plot took, his 'redbreast' is good though it's a story intertwined with norwegians fighting for hitler

Yeah that's it. There were plans for 10 books in the series and Lagercrantz(sp?) didnt bother to get in touch and reference them.

The introduction has a lot of interesting stuff on the origin and early history of Hibernian and Dundee United. Hope the rest of the book is as good.

    Good read

A scanner darkly was great too. When he’s wearing his suit and taking the drug death and he’s confused who he is really made it feel like I was loosing my mind reading it. So well written
